Just win. I don't care what you say, who you deck, who doesn't play, I just want this team to win again. Come on, win 4 in a row for us.

Why are the Spurs better then Rockets.
    Tim Duncan thats why
If every team had a draft choice for the Nba players he would be the 2nd pick of the draft by 90% of the Gm's if not 100. To me he is the second best player in the world. Thats a pretty good player to build your team around

You should probably read the article a bit more closely.
This is what the article states
In no way was the writer even suggesting that Ginobili should even be considered for the rookie award.

I looked through the articles and must have missed the exact quote of the record in the last few games. But if memory serves I have seen the number being thrown around as something like 13-2. I got a question for ya, there buddy. How many times have the rockets been in the playoffs in that stretch? Let me help you out. Zero. Thats 3 years not including this one. IF you add the 4th year...the spurs are 17-3. That last year was the last time the rockets made the playoffs and lost to the lakers in the first round. So you'll forgive them for "loving to forget the playoff record head to head" that never was.

I have to say though...a good deal of the posters I've seen are realists and level headed in their view of the rockets. Actually the sign of a good forum is having moderators who are vigilant and keep the discussions relevant and controll the unruly posters, be they homers or trolls....actually the homers will more than likely be reminded by the moderate posters about being too exstatic. ;)

I am impressed that many of you will not disregard the perception of the young players as mentally immature while having a boatload of talent. I've passed a post containing a chronicle article comparing in a roundabout way duncan to fransis. Some of you seem to view it as a talent for talent comparison. I think the writer was comparing the players more in a team concept. Obviously talentwise there is little to compare however within the team structure, there are relavent comparisons to be made. AS their team's respective leaders(annointed or defacto) they must set the tone. After four or so years fransis has yet to take command of the team and set the tone. The youth excuse is invalid for other reasons not stated. Fransis had at least one year to play with barkley and hakeem(even pippen-although his leadership skills are suspect). The immaturity fransis showed while playing alongside of barkley and hakeem then are the basis for his persona. After these years he seems to have failed to grasp what is going on.

It is rather telling that at the age of 20, san antonio's tony parker has shown a maturity level that rockets fans can only hope their backcourt talents can one day show. As for the soundbite that the media pick up from mobley and fransis...well...it all boils down to maturity. These kids are at a mental level where they have to break another team or player down to build themselves up or to deflect blame.
