Great move, as long as Ryno realizes he's going to be a situational player. Instant stretch-4/5 offense and nothing more. At this point in his career, I doubt he'll be choosy. This is his best (maybe only) shot to stick in the NBA another year or two.
Aha..I was talking with @withmustard in the other thread.....putting forth all the reasons why not. The rationalization has already begun. LOL Go Rockets!
Can we retire the Morey alienating players by treating them like assets narrative yet? How many does this make now?
There was a time before the fall of Ryno when other teams tried to pick on him on the perimeter but his defense was very good. No one could score on him early in the season.
dang bruhs... i know some of our roster is looking old/washed - but I LIKE THIS GROUP going into the season. and i like the varied skill sets of the vets. We got a little bit of everything now - so many lineup possibilities. it'll be fun to see who makes the final roster. I'm def getting league pass this year.
Yes I’ll take Ryan Anderson for cheap. He’s a really good teammate and player when he isn’t being paid 20 million.
With Ryno back, these could be our 15 into the season. Starters - 5 Harden Westbrook Gordon Tucker Capela Reserves - 10 Rivers Green House Sefolosha Clark Bennett Anderson Chandler Hilario Hartenstein
If he can guard Montreal Harrell one on one that would be huge against the Clippers....just in case they shut the capella lob down, he could play that stretch 5, making sure Russ has shooters all around him
I really like the bench. This is similar situation like 2 years ago when we added Tuck & Luc. Under the radar stuff by Morey.
