He always had the accuracy but towards the end he was pump faking when open. As long as he doesn’t do that, Ryno will be a good fit.
Does he have his shooting back?? That's what I want to know. If not, he is useless on the court, even if we sign him for free.
he is not rudy gobert but his defense was solid his entire tenure on the rocket as for passing the open shots ill take it any day of the week over ego taking 30 footers and shooting us out of games
I don't mind it. The biggest issue with Ryno has always been his contract...and his reluctance to shoot because he can actually shoot it...
Never liked Anderson as a player but for the minimum...i've nothing against it, unless we end up cutting a young player like Clark, Hartenstein, Clemons just to make room for him, that's something i would absolutely hate.
I think the structure of the contract might be the key here. Is it another of those salary matching contracts where the receiving team can get out of salary so we can add a expensive piece?
I mean ... okay. Fine. This is not a real thing, but nothing we did as a minimum contract signing the week of camp was going to be a real thing. Better to bring in someone who can theoretically shoot for 5 minutes a game than someone else who can't.
i respect ego but he should drive more and stop bailing opponents out with his uncalled for 35 footers early in the shot clock
His defense against Marcus aldridge was actually pretty good 3 years ago.....he's useful against any team that tries to play two traditional big, so he won't have to switch onto the perimeter....
