So I guess BOB really didn't know who the starter was going to be if he decided to announce it today. I thought the plan was to wait until game day.
Coach had to have seen some absolutely inexcusable things on the game tape to make this decision so quickly going into week two. That, or he's willing to concede that he made the wrong choice during the preseason.

Well as I'm sure others have pointed out, he had an 11 QB rating on plays where he was pressured, if he had just thrown the ball out of bounds every time he was pressured, he'd have had a 33 QB rating....so yeah, that's inexcusable.
Does that not create a great amount of concern that the staff could pick a QB to start after an entire training camp, then switch after about a half or so of regular season football? This team desperately needs a legit prospect at QB... or maybe I'm just bitter that Tennessee seems to now have one.
Did he really announce it or did it just get leaked? Either way, they have to know who the starter is by at the latest today. Game plan implementation. I do hope BOB is right this time... Doesn't really have a fallback plan anymore.
Trust me clutch. I'm now in Nashville and they are going nuts over Mariotta but it was Tampa bay. The bucks played horrid. This might be the best game Mariotta has all year but yea ... Let's get next week over and see
