Heh, it's just shows how weak you are if you are sad about some women commiting suicide instead of be happy that your family is doing good and your life is going well.

Hey, but I have a great news for you then - there are hundreds and thousands of suicides every day. Now you can be sad for whole year about other ones. ;)

People who commit suicide become civil servants in Heaven.

I hope you understand that you wasting time every time when some celeb dies? In bonus you change your mood from being neutral/happy to sad. If it's OK for you, hen whatever.

I also hope people understand that anyone who commints suicide does not belong to heaven. These people are just idiots! There was so many people who died by accident and I bet they wanted to live. And watching people like you sorry about suicides makes me.....laught, I guess. It's pretty confusing feeling tho. If you really think there is no other way to deal with life problems it's a shame then.

And yeah, we may send condolences to family and friends. But also, why should we? Where been family and friends when help was needed? May be it's just me, but I feel sorry only to those who died by accident - this is the real tragedy. Not suicide.

I hope you never have a family member or friend who commits suicide. You seem to be suggesting that mental illness and compassion are signs of weakness. "Idiots" don't commit suicide, people who are severely depressed commit suicide. Clearly there are better ways to deal with life's problems if you are mentally healthy, and clearly she was not capable of dealing with life's problems in a productive way. You seem to have no understanding of psychology.

I don't think I have ever said this to anyone on this forum. But you are a complete ****ing idiot. For a multitude of reasons which i'm not even going to begin to address because you'll probably go on another "houlier than thou" rant filled with utter nonsense. I actually feel bad for your lack of empathy as well as the obvious brain cells you are missing.

Maybe I don't, but that's the way I call weak people commiting suicide - IDIOTS. And there is no excuse to it. You have problems? Damn, there are people who care about you - family and friends, people who love you. How can you go and suicide? It's just most idiotic thing to do with your life. Tell me, what should happen in your life that you will stand up and commit suicide? Maybe I'm an idiot, but there is no such a thing.

Life is not easy tho, and you must be strong. If you have such an weakness and suicide - you're just and idiot. Isn't that right?

you don't make any sense at all or your just emotionally one sided if you can't feel different emotions about separate situations.

it's sad to think that someone's outlook on life would lead them to suicide no matter who they are. i'm not going to go cry about it or let it ruin my day, but it's a bummer.

why would you think they are idiots? that's like calling someone lazy because they are restrained to a wheelchair and can't walk, as people with depression are emotionally crippled. people with depression can't help but feel depressed. this includes despair and hopelessness, which makes suicide seem like their only way out. like i said, depression is a mental illness that drives you to idealize suicide. you're obviously completely ignorant to anything to do with psychology, so this will probably fall on deaf ears again. i hope no one you care about suffers from this illness and commits suicide, so you don't have to go call them idiots during their funeral.

    .................ok

I'm not going to resort to insults and name-calling, because that doesn't advance the ball.

I'm going to post in this thread once, and never open it again. You can bash me, ignore me, and do whatever you want. But I want to try to this, I want you to know my story, then maybe you'll understand a bit better.

I've struggled with suicidal thoughts for about six years. My life's not perfect (whose is?) but it's pretty good compared to most.

I'm not crazy or disabled. I don't hear voices or see things. I am not stupid (despite a lot of stupid posts here). I am not going through a phase or dealing with puberty. I am not an attention w****, because I hate attention. If you met me in person, if you knew me outside of here, you would never associate what you're about to read with me.

I'm suicidal because my brain has some sort of problem. I'm not exactly sure of the science behind it, but dopamine flows very strangely. I might have bipolar, I don't know. My highs are fantastic, and I'm the happiest guy in the world. My middles (which are rare) are pretty strong. My lows, however, are another story. I become hateful and angry. I think violent thoughts, but never act on them. Instead, I turn all the rage and violence filled inside me on myself, and start to think about suicide.

I think about hanging myself from a ceiling fan. Or driving out in the woods and blowing my head off. Or drinking myself to death. And sometimes, the only thing that stops me from acting on these thoughts is the picture of my girlfriend crying at my funeral or my family tearing themselves apart. Because I have a tiny bit of empathy, I don't act on it. You can say that's cowardly. You can say that's touching. You can say aliens control Argentina. I don't care what anybody has to say.

Suicide's a touchy subject. You could argue that in some cases, it's morally wrong. Or a sign of failure or cowardice. Or that it's simple Darwinian evolution-"survival of the fittest." You could argue that something like this doesn't need to be made public (I agree on that note). I won't agree with you, but I see a validity in those arguments. I'm sure there are people who cry suicide as a form of attention whoring, but I try not to judge.

Now, you can go about this a number of ways. As I said, I'm not opening this thread again, so I really don't care. It's the internet. You can ignore it, you can read it and mull it over, whatever. I only ask that you (and anyone else involved) keep your replies in this thread OR through messages on this site. If you have my email, don't bring it up there. If you find me on facebook, twitter, playstation, weibo, IRL- anywhere, I ask that you not bring it up or mention it.

I wish you the best going forward Normalus, and please repsect my wishes or I will put you on ignore. If it becomes a bigger problem, I have no problem reporting you.

Have a good day and a pleasant tomorrow.

Depression and mental illness is just the words, and human should understand that he can be stronger.

Look up for da_juice example - he's still there and probably doing well (and I hope so) just because he overcomed depression. It's not something that you cannot do. You have a life, people that you don't want to leave (and who may help you). It's just natural. Sure, some people with similar problems commits suicide, but in real - it's small peace of cake.

But let's take examples most of people suicide - bf/gf left me, business crash, ****ty life, depts and etc. Isn't that weak and stupid to suicide? Then I'm done with it.

I get what Normalus is trying to say(albeit in a TERRIBLE way), but there is no reason for people not to feel a moment of sadness for someone that has committed suicide. Regardless of that being their choice and other people being strong enough mentally or spiritually to not give in- not every person is the same and on the same level of mental and/or spiritual strength to avoid giving in. It's still a sad thing.
Now one can still be happy about their family and friends and go on and appreciate them while feeling sad for the person that passed on- it's not mutually exclusive.

You people need to chill out. Arguing in a thread about a woman's death that has nothing to do with you just makes you look lame...

depression and mental illness aren't just words. they refer to abnormal chemical imbalances. it's chemicals in your brain that influence your moods and personality. as da-juice said, he has issues with his dopamine levels and others have issues with their serotonin for example. with people like that no matter how great their life is they cannot escape feelings of depression. thankfully da-juice's depression isn't as severe as others, and he can maintain a functional life.

i'm not going to evaluate each person's hypothetical, individual situation, but i know you aren't in any position to judge anyone by calling them weak or stupid. your lack of empathy in your judgements are purely subjective to you, which is just a reflection of yourself. also, i'm positive that those examples are not what lead to the majority of suicides.

The most common causes for suicide attempts are:

    1. they're depressed (medically, not for the types of reasons you mentioned)
    2. they're psychotic (voices tell them to do so)
    3. they're impulsive (usually drug or alcohol related)
    4. they're crying out for help (usually don't intend to die, but want to let others know there is something seriously wrong with them and don't know how else to do it)
    5. philosophical reasons. (example: wanting to control their own destiny when dealing with a terminal illness)
    6. accidental (example: erotic asphyxiation)

i'm done lecturing you for now. if you want to know more read a book.

I can't decide whether Normalus is a heartless idiot or just trolling. But then if a person would troll in a thread like this, he's a heartless idiot regardless. So I have reported it.

Sad that you see people who commit suicide as "idiots".

To me it's sad that someone was in such a dark place and sliding down into a deep hole that in their mind taking their life was the best option.

And to knock family and friends for not giving help?

    You're the idiot here!!!
How do you know they weren't doing everything they could to help her? If someone wants to take their life there's ultimately nothing anyone can do to stop them outside of locking this person in a jail for the rest of their life.
