Knowing what I know now I'd rather Morey had acquired Anderson instead of the pelicans pick in the asik deal. Assuming it doesn't effect the cap flexibility attained by acquiring Ariza through sign & trade.
That wouldn't surprise me, but I don't think we wanted Anderson over the 1st round pick. Houston had equal reasons not to trade Asik to NO as NO did not to trade Anderson to Houston. Ultimately, Houston thought the 1st was the better asset. I think Millsap is a guy they would settle for at the trade deadline, but he's not "the target".
IDK if we can ever get him but this dude is a definitely a player on Team Dwight. Those two guys click together and Jones coming off the bench with a possible 12 and 6 it is a wet dream
