IDK about his 36% shooting helping this team. His LACK of DEFENSE and REBOUNDING will hurt the team dramatically since he is a starter

How do you LET someone make a jumpshot? You can let a player ATTEMPT a shot, but you can never LET a player MAKE a shot. That's up to the player to do. Doesn't matter how wide open a player is. The shot still has to go in. Teams haven't been LETTING Ryan Anderson shoot at a 37.7% clip from 3 for 8 years. He's been MAKING them at a 37.7% clip on his own. Especially considering a lot of his shots were made with when Davis was on the bench! Top 35 scorer in the NBA coming off the bench with only 8 players ahead of him in the NBA, in terms of scoring, who are PF/C. We don't need more defense on a Dantoni coached team.

Ryan Andersen: "I love the rush I get when dribbling down court, stopping a few feet from the three point line, and draining the hoop."

Anthony Tolliver 8per for 2 years > Ryan Anderson 20 per for 4.

So in short, you still can't find a realistically better offensive alternative. Lol. Your first mistake is thinking we need defense on a Dantoni coached team.

Please nobody mention how much Anderson can SCORE without mentioning how many points Anderson will GIVE UP. Jeff Bzdelik is going to get fired because Morey is putting out one of the worst defensive rosters I've ever seen.

Signing Anderson gives Morey a reason not to match anything more than 10m/year for DMo.

Troy Daniels might be next after Eric Gordon.

Honestly... I'd rather we traded away all our players for picks and tanked. Our team is a collection of players that no one else really wants, except for Harden.
No one wants anderson. No one wants bev. No one wants Ariza. No one wants brewer. No one wants DMO.
I mean... not only are the all mediocre players... but they aren't that fun to watch. And frankly, they aren't that likeable as people.

So.....you don't care that he's a net negative when he's on the court? You just want flashy scoring and losses? Fair enough.

Anderson had Back/Neck surgery a couple of years ago...not sure he can stand up for 4 years.

Don't agree, couple the defense and shooting make him just as valuable

A net negative playing next to Alonzo Gee, Dante Cunningham, Norris Cole and Alexis Ajinca? What a surprise! Of course Anderson is to blame for that. Lol.

He's not a net negative due to his teammates, he's a net negative because he's one of the worst defenders in the NBA and the only thing he brings to a team to counter balance that is 3 point shooting.

I wouldn't be against picking him up for literally half of what he signed for as a bench 3 point specialist but 20 mil a year is insane for what little he brings to the team.

Lol. Thank god Morey doesn't have the mentality of the casual Rockets fan. We would've never signed James Harden if defensive measurements were the determining factor.
