I would only take Rudy Gay for free (/Brewer). Don't really see the appeal of giving up assets for him. Anderson hasn't been as bad as Clutchfans makes him out to be, and his contract is only going to look bad this year and next - when it's shorter, the dollar value won't be a concern.

Ryan Anderson ain't going nowhere, especially after last night's beast mode game against the Dubs.

Not blaming you at all, it's all these poster creating new threads for the same basic topic. Ryan Anderson threads are the new becoming of DMo threads

I've said it a hundred times already, but only Gay deal I am making would be McDaniels, Brewer and some pick for Gay. We clear out our cap for next year and Gay can take over Brewer's spot in the rotation which makes us better this year.

I was not 100% sold on Ryan, but the value of the amount of space he provides is huge

I honestly like purchase team. Eric Gordon is a pleasant surprise, Ryan is almost lights out from 3land... even Brewer is contributing. I say leave this team alone and let them continue building chemistry.

I wouldn't mind dumping Bobby Brown in favor of Payton or something like that tho

What's the fascination with Rudy Gay at this point? He fancies himself as a Clyde Drexler wannabe. Ryan Anderson fancies himself as a Matt Bullard wannabe. I fancy myself as a Dude wannabe. In the world of wannabe I think I would go with the guy like Clyde Drexler. But I still need more info as to how he would fit in with this team man because it seems like we're burning it right now. Fkin A man.

I'm all for adding talent but what's the point if we lose Rhino?

Rudy Gay is incompatible with our roster. He likes iso midrange jumpers, not a good spot up shooter, a poor defender, and can't create for others. Didn't we all laugh at Corey Maggette and his heroics? Gay is pretty much the same player. He does very few things that help a team win. He certainly knows how to fill up a stat sheet, though. His prior two teams got better after his departure; addition via subtraction.

Say what you want about Anderson, it's all true, but he draws out a frontcourt defender every second he is on the floor. Other players need to prove they are on that night to draw a defender out, his reputation is good enough that they are on him by default. He's grossly overpaid at $20mil/yr, but he is hardly useless.

Rudy Gay is essentially SF Michael Beasley.

    No thanks...

Rudy Gay is kinda like Wiggins in that he can score, but is mediocre in all other aspects of the game

Adding Gay by moving Brewer and Mcdaniels would be a great move for the bench. Provides even more versatility and offensive firepower to the 2nd team. Gay is a far better shooter scorer and finisher than Brewer. Also provides cap space as he will undoubtedly leave after one year.

Add Emo and the bench will be one of the several eat and deepest in the league which will be vital to a deep run in the playoffs.
