Ryan Anderson for Rudy Gay at the trade deadline? would you do it

What the Rockets need to do is trade for Tyson Chandler. A rotation of Chandler, Nene, and Capela will do wonders for what Anderson can't do (e.g. rebound and defend)

 

Been saying this for a long time. I think it were to happen it would have happened by now. I can't remember who said it. Maybe Cod? But Chandler changed his tune and is happy in PHX now.

I am not a big Ryan Anderson fan and was against his signing in Houston.
I don't dislike Rudy Gay and would be ok trading for him in certain situations.
But both of those said, I wouldn't do an Anderson for Gay trade.

 

So have I he is the perfect center for us and good for the development of Capella as well. I do feel we may need some court help as well, but his contract is just so friendly we really need to take advantage of it.

No, I want Harden to be the scorer. Rudy is the current version of Glenn Robinson.

 

It depends . If Rudy can play as well as josh smith did in the postseason then you go for it . Rudy is an excellent defender if he sets his mind to it , and I assume he has good passing skills for the 4 position .

He's gonna have to give you more than just a defensive upgrade , we are going to have to be able to adapt our style to help him play his best game .

I wouldn't trade a used condom and Brewer for Rudy Gay,, let alone trading Ryan Anderson for that chucker

 

We can trade for Tyson Chandler at any time. He's on the market. PHX wants to move him out. They'll take any salary dump trade they can find for him. We're waiting for something better.

 

At this point, i'm ok with the team on the floor now. Chemistry is getting better every game. If in a trade, it doesn't make you significantly better, you dont make a move to just make a move. I dont think Rudy Gay makes this team significantly better - regardless of who you get rid of.
