You're not going to be, because he's never done that.

The difference in a few million is, The difference between the Warriors keeping Livingston or Iguodala while getting Durant or having to trade Livingston or AI.

If the Warriors had your mentality years ago, they'd have paid Klay a proper 5 year deal pegged to the cap at 25% (instead gave him a less than max deal) and also would have given Draymond a max deal (he also got less)

This wasn't a Morey type of signing, bc I think he's fighting for his job. You aren't going to get 20 million in value this year from Ryan Anderson, just like you weren't gonna get 13-14 million last year from him. He's just not that good.

You don't build a championship team by using 20% of your cap space this and next year on 4th-5th string caliber players. Ryan Anderson would be the 5th best player on the Cavs, the 6th best on the Warriors. We're paying him 2nd best money. All this does is lock us into mediocrity, I don't get why no one else sees it.

This pretty much sums up what I think of Ryan Anderson right here. Truth.

Just because you say it doesn't make it true. You take add 2 million, and the Warriors can't sign Durant to the max without giving up Livingston or AI.

Anderson should be getting a lot more uncontested 3s and his averages should be up across the board from a season ago

What I find weak is your argument here. OK then, let's say that KD does what you (and all of the others like Stephen A Smith) wants - he stays at OKC and doesn't win a ring. You, SAS and all the others would be the first to label him a LOSER because he didn't win a championship. He fails to get that ring and just how many of you would be applauding him for "not taking the easy way out"? How many of you are applauding Stockton and Malone for doing that? I can hear SAS now bashing KD because he has no rings unlike his bro LeBron. To me this is exactly what LeBron did when he "took his talents to South Beach". All this whining about KD taking the easy way out is BS plain and simple. Durant said at the outset that his decision was going to be a BASKETBALL decision which means that he was looking to win championships and not try to prove some meaningless point to those folks who decided that they have the right to stand in judgement of him. Can't wait to see what you folks will have to say when Harden bolts in two years. Will you be labeling him be "weak" as well? Just be sure to post your rants and burning of Harden's jerseys up on YouTube for all to enjoy.

Ppl keep talking about the cap. Do you ppl not realize the jump it made? And the one it will make next year? And probably the next two years?

Comparing them to us is stupid, because we are not in that stage of our team building.

Complaining about Anderson being 2-5 million more than you think he is worth doesn't make sense until that money actually prevents us doing something. It hasn't, and it won't in the near future.

Our issue is not coming up with money, it is with attracting talent.

So he can't play the 4 because 3's play the 4 now? Wouldn't the logical conclusion of that mean that he can play the 5 now? Either way he will

You realize that I'm not SAS right, LMAO. Why are you replying to me to argue against him? Call ESPN. No one said KD had to stay in OKC (I believe SAS said that as well) and Harden has a totally different situation. The fact that those are your arguments show that you are not listening or reading the people you're replying to. If you're not going to slow down read and try to comprehend what people are saying to you, you are going to spend all your time confused and stuck in the same argument. Going in circles arguing against points no one made and adding words to peoples mouths. I'm not going to keep repeating the same things over to the same people who ignore what they want and argue just to argue. If you think what he did wasn't weak fine good for you but most people disagree.

That's because you only seem to be holding athletes to the higher standard of putting others needs before their own. In the other examples mentioned, like Jobs, they did what was best for them, not what's best for you or fans of theirs. You want athletes to not take the easier path. Who else do you expect to choose a harder route? No one.

If you want a human to choose a harder path, not for his own benefit but for others, how can you say you're treating him like a human being?

Whats best for him is winning a ring without going to the Warriors to do it.

No it's not. Apparently what's best for him is what makes him happy, which appears to be playing in a place where things should be easier and he should have a higher chance of winning. If there were a player perfect for the GS system, it's Durant. He obviously cares about stuff like that more than folks opinions about his effort or manhood.

So he can't wait to get paid? Seems reasonable to me.
