Not only that, but blaming WB works no matter where he goes. The reason ppl are pissed is not soley that he left OKC, but that he chose GSW over Boston and Chris Paul/LAC. It's because he chose a super team, who just won 73 games and nearly repeated.

Anyone who let's this Durant-camp spin allow them to view the decision as only two choices, OKC or GSW, is weak minded.

You know, it's possible to hold conflicting feelings about something, or someone, right?

I think a grown man has the right to work wherever he chooses if the opportunity arises. If winning is Durant's first and foremost priority, which fans claim they respect, then going to Golden State is a no brainer. It would only be possible to join this team now, by the way.

Shut it Ryan. Harden gives 0 **** about what you think about him and he won't acknowledge you or welcome you. Harden likes Harden only.

That's fine. But then why not just say that. Why not just say I wanted to form a super team, with one who just won 73 games. Why are they trying to spin that it was because of WB.

Let's not repeat the argument about why GSW vs BOS vs LAC vs SAS vs OKC. The Durant camp is trying to spin that it had to be GSW because of WB. No, that's an arguable reason to leave OKC, but that is not why most ppl are pissed.

If he wants to spin, talk about why you chose GSW over BOS over LAC then, Durant. Don't make this about why you didn't choose OKC.

No one is saying he can't choose where he wants to go. Im surprised you are missing a very simple point. The point is it actually matters how you win. GSW would have likely won the championship next year anyway. They didn't need KD to win a ring, therefore he's just tagging along as if he's some sort of old washed player chasing a ring. You're adding a top 3 player in the league right now to one of the best teams in history. Its not really a respectable thing. How do you prove you're the best by joining the best in history? You don't. KD talks about legacy and then joins the team that he choked against then blamed his teammates play who outplayed him in that series. It's a punk move. Sure you'll win a ring but you've lost all respect and those rings will be laughed at. Lebrons ring in Cleveland is worth a thousand rings for KD in GSW.

I don't disagree with you, but I do want to point out that Lebron did the same thing when he went back to Cleveland but it got spun beautifully, and everyone has bought it.

He left deteriorating-knees Wade, and a Bosh with blood clot problems to join a young superstar Kyrie, and double double machine with a 3pt shot Love. He definitely jumped ship to give himself the best chance of winning a championship as well.

The revisionist history is strong in this one.

Bosh had zero blood clotting issues before LeBron left.

Young superstar Kyrie? Who couldn't get cleveland to the playoffs? Double double machine Love who was on the lottery bound Wolves?

I think HP has a point. Obviously I don't think these super teams are good for the league. And I'd be lying if I didn't say that I think Durant going to GS undermines the spirit of competition, but I don't begrudge him his choice to leave, he's a free agent.

That said, as I read more and more about scapegoating Westbrook, I hope that's not coming from Durant's camp. If so, that's very weak. He's on his super team, they made their choice, they don't need to throw Westbrook under the bus to deflect criticism over leaving. It strikes me as cowardly and classless, which I never associated with Durant before now.

He could have gone anywhere. He chose the best team because it gave him the best chance to win. But to throw your old teammates and coach under the bus just sucks. Like I said, I hope this stuff isn't coming from KD.

Man our so called fans are toxic. We wont know the value of the contract until

    A he plays
B the market has been played for a few years

The last few years on clutchfans have been the hardest to read so many people just trolling.

Support the team and its players, sure critique them but at least support them.

Ok you're right: I was wrong about the Bosh's blood clot timing

but I'm right about Wade, Kyrie and Love.

Kyrie and Love were considered top young players to build around at the time.

They got Love after Lebron came. It was Wiggins on Cleveland.

With major rumblings to trade him for Love as soon as Lebron got there...

    Edit: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=256202 : 7/9/2014

Lebron opted out of the Heat contract on 6/25/2014

Lebron announced his decision to join the Cavs on 7/11/2014

    I think it's clear
