    We screwed ourselves for giving him that huge contract, and Anderson screwed us by drastically regressing in his second year here, making the contract essentially untradeable. We already lost two key rotation players this summer because of it. At this point, we just gotta grit our teeth and take it for one more year.

    Bringing Ariza would've done nothing because he was part of the 0-fer brigade against GSW. It's 1 thing to ask Fertita to pay 100M in tax so you can get Lebron or Paul George. It's another to ask him to pay 100M so you can pay Ariza double his old salary and keep Anderson on the roster. Ariza and Anderson aren't difference makers against GSW as we have seen the last 2 years, not worth paying the lux tax over.
