[Russillo] 76ers waiting on Rockets for Simmons / Harden deal; also PJ Tucker wants out

Yep, both Anderson and Broekhoff will need to wait 3 months before they can be included in any trade.

If Rockets are smart, Harden not traded until next season or by trade deadline at the earliest.

Rockets need to play James to remind teams how great he is, right now the bile from his Vegas trip is still fresh in their mouths.

 

I know that and I don't want one. I'd rather have tons of picks than Ben Simmons. That's all I'm saying. He may fit well in New Orleans maybe they will give us all their draft picks they been collecting. I've been on board with a full rebuild. I'd prefer us to outright tank and get our picks back from OKC.

 

Fully healthy Russ still get shut down by Lebron. Even when he was healthy he was still firing up bricks. Felt like everytime he got to the basket Lebron sent it to the stands.

Just trade EG, House, and maybe Tucker for AG. Keep Harden. I dont like AG and Simmons on the same team

I'm meh on House. A starting lineup with Wall, Harden, Gordon, Tucker, and Wood will be tough with Cousins, Ben, and Brown off the bench.

Thats why its all mental. Listen you wont get a perfect prospect in exchange for Harden if Simmons was willing to shoot he wont be available to begin with.

Dude is 24, relatively healthy, an athletic beast and has no major holes in his game apart from shooting. Having just 1 area he needs to work on is much more fixable than having so many issues you need to address.

The mayor of houston vouches for him and house got back in the gym as soon as he got back from the bubble.

Yes, Simmons is only 24 but he’ll never be a scorer. That’s just not his game. He’s not a one on one player like some of the other guards in the league that put up points. If you add Simmons then you need to change the entire offense.
