    Because the audience that ate up that buttery males scandal is actually tech illiterate. They were told to hate her for it, they didn't really understand why, but they wanted to so badly that all of sudden they were server experts. The scope and scale of this attack is way beyond their comprehension (it's beyond most Americans, including mine) and it goes against the narrative that Trump is "the toughest on Russia."

    "Asleep at the wheel" is letting Trump off the hook. He encouraged cyber attacks prior, and he almost certainly is purposefully not doing anything here. Not doing a damn thing is benefiting Putin, and he might as well be a co-conspirator if he refuses to do his damn job.

    No doubt that this is just the first of many tests the next few weeks and early on in Biden's presidency where the transition period will leave the country vulnerable.

    Putin must really have some goods on Trump. There is no other reasonable explanation for Trump's refusal to condemn or blame Putin of all the alleged activity against our country.

    He's getting his talking points ready. Probably going to say something about how it may or may not be Russia. How great of a relationship he has with Putin and that we will get to the bottom of it together. Soon, very soon. But if not soon, we have it totally under control. Fake media. How we can't rule out Iran. Well, actually, China is his latest punching bag, so how we can't rule out China. Yea, China - that would get his base on board quickly.

    But his lies are so evident. Trump has never been fully briefed on anything. You just can't fit that into the half-page he requires.

    lol Russia did not do anything bad, I was fully briefed...it's not serious . Wait CHINA!! It may have been CHINA and it is serious....Our election that I won was part of the hack by CHINA too.
