to do that deal, they would have to trade everything not nailed down to the floor, and find a 3rd team that could meet our own trade demands.

interestingly enough, it could open up the possibility of Kawhi leaving LAC and coming to Houston with Russ off our books.

Maybe send them to SAC for Bogdanovic and Hield? Rockets would still need a couple PGs from a Gordon deal though.

Yep, that's why they can't really piss off Kawhi, if he's gone they're done, lol.

yeah, that makes sense. Just hard to see how it would come together. Houston will want a star-ish player and/or players that fit our needs perfectly.

I really think every move should be with an eye towards free agency next year, which is why I’m against the John Wall swap. What better way to convince Harden to say than to have enough space to sign PG, Kawhi or Giannis next summer? If it doesn’t work out, then you trade Harden and your cap is clean.

That, to me, is priority 1B for this offseason. 1A is building a competitive team. It doesn’t have to win it all, but it needs to be functional, and we need to look like a great destination going into next summer.

Clippers have nothing of value. If rockets were to trade russ why bother including clippers even in a 3 team deal

Nance is the only Cavs guy that interests me. Not for EG. Don’t trade Harden in a 3 way deal for Bamba and Aaron Gordon. RW’s stock might rise a bit when he’s fit, despite his shortcomings.

I HIGHLY doubt Mo Bamba is the hold up, I bet Houston is looking for a 1st round pick in the deal and rightfully so. Gordon hasn’t exactly lived up to the hype and the Magic already have a SF that is better IMO in J. Isaac who I would rather ask about before Gordon.

Trade dumbrick to Orlando for Gordon

Woods and Gordon will be the most athletic front court in the league catching lobs from harden

    Nope.

You can want Harden and know the only path to contention is by yeeting the basketball cancer that is Westbrook.

Yep, but you can't have another non shooter on the floor, which is why Woods makes sense. I just wish we didn't have to lose Covington. We really need a long 3 and D player to play the 3/4/5

The Rockets insider dude thinks Russ to the clippers could happen soon. The third team is either the pelicans or the OKC.

If it’s the pelicans it better not be Bledsoe or Ball coming here
