I know this was discussed a little on the NBA game Action threads but I think it needs its own thread as I think this will completely change the dynamics of the Thunders game. This guy is a great player but has no control on his anger what so ever and tends to shoot too much when he gets angry and what not. How do you think this will affect the Thunders long term or will it effect them long term? Has a team ever had a player like him who is your leader go crazy like this and lead a team to win a championship? Honestly, Thunder made a mistake letting Harden go instead of Westbrook but I'm glad they made the mistake. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/9pIQK1hHASY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> That was a horrible interview.. and he handled the whole situation so poorly. How do you get mad at a 5 second call? .... And Charles was hilarious with the shirt.. lol

Like West but his ego is getting ahead of him. Id hate to see what happens to his game once his explosiveness gets behind him.
Staying in OKC was the best move Westbrook made for himself. Can you imagine what it would be like if he was to be the alpha-dog on his very ow- Hmm....
So he gets mad when they are up by 25 points and they screw one play. If it was Chris Paul media would say he is perfectionist and it's just his competitive spirit kicking in. If it was KG media would say it's because he is "old school". It's basketball. Things happen. I don't get bias against certain players. Some guy who cheated on his SAT is considered to be on of the most humble NBA players. He asked for Boozer to be traded away for Pau Gasol. To answer basketball part of your question; It's unlikely Westbrook will cost his team championship, because of the offense. I would be shocked if OKC didn't win any title, because they offense wouldn't be good enough. Because it always was, even in the finals when they lost despite Harden playing like a scrub in 3 out of 5 games(he had TS% below 45 in those three games). But they lost it because Brooks refused to play their best lineups and made some terrible adjustments(doubling Lebron with Heat's shooters going crazy,...). If your compare their current offense to league average offense OKC is having second best offense of all time this season. It's mostly because of Durant, who is having one of the greatest offensive season in NBA history by single player, but Westbrook is primary ballhandler and was productive so far so he isn't without credit.
He was the one called for 5 seconds without making a move....he should've passed it Then he tells Craig Sager it was just miscommunication and when Sager follows up on the question he says he handled it like a man..then asked if he thought he couldve handled it better West brook responds with "whatever bro" then moves to a reporter
hm.....did he ever run into this kind of thing with harden while harden was still in OKC? he wants the attention because rondo getting the attention from the media with his injury
How does Rose allegedly cheating on the SATs make him not humble? Show me one clip where Rose acts like a petulant child to a reporter asking him a legit question about him acting like a petulant child on the court.
Pretty sure that was the point he was trying to make, he was saying a guy who cheated on his SAT is one of the most humble guys in the NBA. I don't think anyone would make a generalization someone who cheated on his SAT is humble, hence him saying he has no bias towards anyone.
what the fuc is this, westbrook internet defense force? He's pissed because he should've passed the damned ball from the post and the coaches and players called him out on it. What a ******* cry baby
Does Chris Paul ever get so mad in a comparable situation that he had to go chill in the locker room with a coach and was still seething in a post game interview?
