he cares more about stats than winning at a high level dude literally had a 34% usage rate, tied for the 3rd highest of his career, and took 22.5 shots a game, the 2nd most of his career behind his MVP season it wasn’t enough for him I guess he had an issue because he wasn’t able to get 10 assists and 10 rebounds here? For a year I forced myself to like Russ out of my unconditional love for the Rockets. I never liked that he stole Harden's MVP with his empty stats. I don't know what caused him to hold out at camp but it definitely leaves a sour taste in my mouth that we basically threw away 2 swaps and a two picks for a failed one year run that ended with him throwing a tantrum (I never wanted Russ and thought it was a blatantly awful trade). He almost took Harden with him on the way out. I think Wall will convince Harden to stay. I don't know that it results in anything more than playoffs for the remainder of the contracts unless my guy Wood really turns into a high level all-star, but we know Harden likes playing with guys coming off of ruptured achilles so I think he signs that extension before appearing before the media.
He was a bad fit, but I still don't appreciate him asking out after just one COVID season. He wanted to come here and bailed immediately.

Lol good riddance..and I personally enjoy Westbrooks fire and aggressive approach to the game. Side note...Maybe..hopefully, John Wall will miraculously stay healthy and actually take and make some clutch shots for this team.
