He came, he showed that we will never win a damn thing with Harden, then he left. We will never learn. Thank you.
So,after one year, this is the net of the outcome of the Russ-CP3 trade: We traded Kelly Oubre, Ricky Rubio, 2 FRP and 2 FRP swaps for John Wall
Westbrook was terrible to start the season and was a horrible fit to the surprise of no one. Then after the Capella trade, from January to March, dude avg 32, 8, 7 on 52% fg. He played hard and was a beast. Unfortunately after a long break and covid infection and a quad injury, Westbrook played terribly vs the lakers. Though he did help the rockets advance past the 1st round with his effort in game 7 vs the thunders. Westbrook had a lot of highs and lows... Strengths and flaws. He'd play hard always on offense/rebounding, but lose focus or attention on defense. He was a great attacker bit horrible shooter. He had so much drive and passion but was also error prone and careless. The rockets acquired WB in an I'll advise trade and he left in an I'll advise trade imo. But it was interesting if not successful cooperation.
Seems like Russ really took it to heart when Harden or his camp leaked that he wanted to be with the Nets. That wasn’t cool at all since Harden was one of the people that made us trade for Russ. Then goes back trying to leave him behind for his other ex teammate that Russ doesn’t like at all. Knowing how Russ is he probably said Fk this noise. Even after things seemed to have settled down. His agent got in contact with the wiz and Rockets so they could make this trade. Russ didn’t want to be here for training camp at all and just wanted the trade ASAP. Russ preferred the Wiz since they have Scotty Brooks and he wanted to play with Beal.
Russ looks like a weak version of Anthony. Wall is a tall version cp3. We have Harden to shoot the final ball should be okay rather than.using russ get in miss the ball without any foul. Cp3 able to shoot 3 points in money minutes to win the match, I dont know wall can do it or not Cp3>Wall>Russ
The Westbrook giveth and the Westbrook taketh.. He did provide the needed spark at times but as expected a lot of boneheaded plays. That said the D'Antoni system needed someone who could play with some chaos when shots weren't falling.
hes probably the most athletic rocket ever.. trying to think who on rockets was that athletic? i was too young but moses malone didnt he come out of high school? he was more just beast. olajuwon was a beast too. chuck hayes is a monster..artest but those guys are more like your perfect mma guy. budinger and nachbar were pretty athletic
