    What's the story with this?

PBeverley was obviously not fully fit, I think, esp this early in the season.

Why rush him back when ABrooks was doing a reasonably
    adequate job covering?

I see other teams doing it too (eg NYK with Melo and Stoudemire last season
and the Bulls trying to get Rose to play last year).

Would you risk playing a not 100% fit player and/or aggravating the injury
    further?

The injury bug seems to be coming back to H-town.

Given that there are like 4-6 players on the roster completely un-utilised,
it seems a little silly to risk further injury to the injured player
    and lengthen the recovery time.

    Just my 2 cents worth.

Did you watch the Utah game? AB basically played the whole 2nd half of that game on 1 leg... he was injured himself but couldn't sit because Beverley was already sitting out and Canaan wasn't listed as active. I figure they may be keeping him out of the rotation to let him rest some.

I was gonna say I hope Harden plays next game, but then I remembered the last game vs the clips.

Just speculating, based on that he was 'supposed' to be out another week
    plus
he did shoot 1 for 10.

Would have thought a normal PB would be better than a 1 for 10,
    esp against this Lakers defence.

I know it doesnt work like this but if only he could have shot 2 for 10,
or Howard make 2 of his 11 missed free throws or if etc etc...

Nash used Beverley to make a double screen.

His D is not as great as people think.
