    A little off-track here...

    ...but the new movie "Exodus: Gods and Kings", starring Christian Bale, took some heat for having a ruling class of white Europeans in the lead roles (Bale plays the part of Moses), and a subservient black cast as the slaves.

    Not at all factually accurate in terms of racial identities, but the point seems similar here...
