    That's actually a great idea. That would instantly be a better movie than any Bond movie ever, and better than any Shaft movie ever.

    I would love to see that film.

    I know, right. It's so wrong to have a black James Bond, yet having predominantly white actors/actresses play the parts of actual non-white people or historical figure is simply casting decision for a broader appeal.

    Yes, Wayne played the Khan, looked like an idiot doing so, and the flick failed. Have you ever seen it? I have. A better example would be Mickey Rooney playing Mr. Yunioshi in the superb Blake Edwards film, Breakfast at Tiffany's. Rooney was terrific in the role, taking the absurdity of playing Yunioshi and using it to create the perfect fool living above Hepburn's Holly Golightly. I think I've seen Breakfast at Tiffany's at least 10 times. It's almost an annual thing and one of my favorite films.
