Although I'm in pretty good physical shape, I have always sweated like a demon during any type of exercise. I've always been this way. It's usually no big deal, but lately the weather here has been super hot (25-30 C). As a result, whenever I go for a run or play tennis, my shirt gets soaked with sweat and ends up rubbing against my nipples. After a while, it gets really painful. My poor nipples are rubbed raw. Changing to a dry shirt usually helps for a while, but it doesn't take long for the nips to start getting sore again. Does anyone else have this problem? Another totally unrelated problem I get when running is that my upper thighs rub against each other, causing some painful chafing after a while. This is especially bad during (and after) long runs (>4 km).
you must have some pencil eraser nips... anyhow i'm sure just putting a small piece tape on your nipple will fix your problem
Yeah. I get the nipple problem. But it's rare. Basically the nipple opens up at the base and the salt get's in there. I'm pretty sure that's what is happening to you. And it's from all the rubbing of your shirt as you described. I'm not sure what the solution is. If you tape the nipple or band aid it they will both slip off when you start to sweat. So it only helps a little. But that will work. There's probably a solution out there. Try to wear tighter shirts. I think that helps because it reduces the friction. Or you need to find a way not to sweat.
Are you a man or are you a woman? If you are a woman, try a sports bra. If you are a man, try a sports bro.
That explains the guy I saw running in Memorial Park who took off his shirt to expose two band-aids. I thought he was holding his piercings in place or something.
Get yourself some dryfit or coolmax type shirts. They wick away sweat and keep you real comfortable. I have the same problem with my shoulders because real stocky and shirts cling to my shoulders and back.
I believe the proper spelling is.... mansiere (like brassiere) but in this case, fadeaway would need a sports mansiere....
Have you tried vaseline on your thighs in the rubbing area? (<--man that sounds dirty.) How about those lycra/biker shorts?
