Walton is far from an idiot. Actually, his greatest strength is his mind for the game. He's a cerebral player who makes the easy plays. IMO, he would be perfect playing about 5-10 minutes a game as T-Mac's backup. Oh and by the way, that's about 5-10 minutes more than DA would provide us.

What do we have to offer? I mean, we can't deal David Wesley because he's an important player, and he should be resigned next season, can't trade Juwon because his back up is Stromile, and we can't trade Stromile, because everyone thinks he sucks.

610 AM just reported that the Rox have filed papers with the league office relating to some kind of trade. Presumably, it involves derek anderson, but it should be announced soon.

(and yes, this is my first post)

Walton is totally different from Bowen. Bowen is a good athlete who plays smart, active defense, with a great motor and no offensive skill.

Walton is tremendously skilled and an amazing passer. He can't shoot very well. That's it. In all other respects he is a highly skilled player, but he's a tweener. He doesn't have the quickness to lock down 3s and isn't big or strong enough guard 4s.

But apparently he picked up the triangle very quickly and I think they like him too much to part with him for DA. He'd be great as a backup in the high post. He got over 7 assists per game in college from the high post.

Are you kidding me? Phil Jax loves Walton. And you guys want to trade for him with a bag of chips (DA)?
