I really don't think it can.

I'm not worried about it too much since the report appears to be fake. But even fake reports can work on paper. I'm having a hard time figuring out a way this helps both teams, which is what a sign-and-trade should do.

Oubre is not someone I want on the team in the short or long term. His lack of bball IQ is terrible. EGo at least has some veteran presence and would hopefully be professional enough to mentor the new kids.

Completely agree. I think seeing how much he floundered in a smart system at Golden State has tanked his value. I don’t want Oubre taking minutes from KMJ. Send him to Detroit.

Dude, you are just not a happy camper.

Any player available right now will have some warts.

I'm fine with him being here until the right trade presents itself. I have faith that is the way Stone sees it. No need to rush him out, best case is start the season with him getting good minutes (but not too many) teaching the young guys and showcasing his abilities. Trade him to a contender needing his defense, ball handling and scoring off the bench for salary match off the books player plus a 1st round pick or at least a promising younger type player and a 2nd pick. Asset combined will be key at some point in luring the next disgruntled star to be traded. This people wanting him gone for a bag of chips need to stick to 2K.

Agree 100%. I think EGo could help Green a lot too.

I don't want Oubre either. He should be easier to move because of his age. I'm afraid that the Rockets will throw in a 1st round pick as well to get him. That will be really bad.

If we were really lacking at the SF position I might consider it,but I already consider Tate the better, smarter player. I think KMJ has more potential as well. So why bring in Oubre at all?

Oubre makes total sense. Stone likes to buy low, rebuild value, and then sell.

Considering Stone has been in charge this year only - I can't think of who he bought low on, rebuilt value and then sold for more...refresh my memory here?

This was literally the entire premise around getting victor Olidipo. If he had come back strong he would have been worth a first round pick.

Same thing with John Wall, coming off a major injury. The entire reason he is here is to build his value and then flip his contract for assets.

I think its a LOCK that Oubre ends up on the Rockets and there's one reason why. He's a Jr. Fits right in with the rest of the team. . . Also the fact that I've wanted him on the team for years and the Rockets got exactly who I wanted out of the draft so since they are getting all the other players I wanted I don't see why they wont get Oubre here as well.

Kevin Porter Jr. -------( KPJ )
Kenyon Martin Jr. ---( KMJ )
Kelly Oubre Jr. -------( KOJ )

I'm leaving Danuel House Jr. out cause I'm throwing him in the trade along with Gordon to sweeten the deal with GS.
