Feigan would not follow up or report on anything controversial, I like his writing but he is a puppet for the Rockets organization. DD
Not true. A few days ago, he asked Yao in person about the "no [adherence to the] game plan" quote, just to see if it had been an attack on Adelman. Yao said that he had, in fact, been talking about the players' failure to adhere to the game plan, as Feigan had originally guessed. Something like that really hardly even needed to be followed up, but Feigan did it because he is a good reporter, not a puppet. So far, his analysis this year has been great. I suspect your main complaint is that he more often agrees with the Rockets coaching staff than with the masses of idiotic fans.
Here is an update: A couple Chinese reports, who reside here in Houston, asked Yao about the “iso-ed” rumor during the party Sunday afternoon. Yao’s first reaction was like “WTF, Who said that?” When given the answer, he cursed a few words in Chinese, then ignored / dismissed it as he usually does with fake rumors. Here is the link: http://caojianblog.blog.sohu.com/73733240.html http://keithinhouston.blog.sohu.com/73736855.html Hope someone with better skill (Pryuen ) can translate those blog pieces and put this rumor to a rest once and for all. There are also some pretty hilarious comments about Yao and T-Mac’s “tender moment” during the party. I think it worth to read because it shows Yan and T-Mac are pretty tight!
Yao Ming's denial, like Feigan's annot be trusted because he is a puppet for the Rockets organization. It's a well-known fact among real Rockets fans that Yao Ming is on the Rockets payroll.
cool...i'm glad that rumor has been squashed.....these stupid sites that make up crap like this, should get sued or something....WTF..they just print this crap and we fans suffer because of it ..... Tracy and Yao seem happy with each other, thats why it was surprising to read that... thats it, i'm not believing anytning from that site again!!!
My translation: "Listen to this startling news told to us by a worker in the Rockets' locker room: after the first half had finished, the team were all going into the locker room. In order to do television interviews, Yao Ming and McGrady came out apart, McGrady ahead, Yao Ming with his head down behind. When they got to the second doorway in the hall to the locker room, McGrady stopped in his tracks and, approaching Yao Ming with an angry look on his face, suddenly pointed with his right index finger at the approaching Yao Ming. In front of several people, he said to Yao Ming with a dark look: "You will be isolated by us!" After saying this twice, McGrady turned and left. Under the scrutiny of the bystanders, Yao Ming's face turned the color of iron. Mumbling something, he looked around at the bystanders, several times trying to speak, with his head down and lips pressed together. Clearly this act by McGrady left Yao Ming at a loss."
For the last time. Sina is just a portal, it have no reporters of its own. It just link to reports published by others and pay those people some money.
sina.com is the bad apple in Chinese media. by the way, folks should know that sina often took crap from clutchfans.net as "news". THEY ARE READING THIS THREAD.
It is actually full of everything, from Crap to breaking news to insider information. It just put everything it can find out there. You have to choose which ones you want to believe.
I take this to mean that we're going to pound it in to Yao for awhile. ...not that he's going to get frozen out.
oh, really, which link did SINA use to report the "loss of Chinese volleyball national team in 2004's olympic final?" when the game was still going on and the "projected" winner Russian team had two more points to win? NONE. SINA just made it up! A link to "no name" or "nowhere" on Sina is probably just a lie made by SINA.
Why should they be sued.. in the US people get away with it.. Tabloids say pretty much what they want. In the UK people get away with it.. British Paparazzi are brutal. Why shouldn't the Chinese media have the same kind of crappy journalistic characteristics? (is that grammatically correct... ah what does it matter! LOL)
