There is nothing pathetic to revisit history, rookie. And I was not rewriting history, unlike your YOH/TOF pal Desert_Rocket. If he said out of frustration something along the line of the need to bench Yao in the first 3 quarters in the game 7 of the Utah series, he would have a point since Yao was indeed ineffective and playing horribly. I'll respectfully disagree but would not argue. To suggest that Yao be benched in the 4th quarter, however, reeks utter ignorance, stupidity, and downright hatred towards arguably the best Rocket player in that 4th quarter. Yao immediately scored 4 points in his first 4th-quarter stint to lead a 5-2 Rocket run, 4 points in his 2nd stint in which Rockets made their 7-3 run that put the team in the lead for the 1st time since 1 minute and half into the 1st quarter, and kept the Rockets close later in the period with his 7-point offensive output. In all his 4th-quarter stints, Yao had 15 points on 3-6 FG and 9-9 FT shooting, 3 boards, to go with only 1 TO and 1 PF. This has to be ranked one of the best 4th-quarter performances by a Rocket in a playoff game, a losing effort notwithstanding. McGrady's 4th-quarter stats were not shabby, but if one takes a closer at his impact on the game vs that of Yao by the team +/-, one would notice Yao's on-court presence meant more to the Rocket's comeback, albeit short lived, than McGrady's. I outlined in my previous post a list of things McGrady failed to do to help Rockets win largely in a jest, however not even a hard core TOF can deny those facts with a straight face. But apparently none matters to a certified YOH/TOF such as Desert_Rocket whose the absurdity eludes only a self-loathing uber dorky goofball like yourself.
That's exactly what I wanted to say to that internet keyboard warrior (the one that I quoted). If he wanted to call someone a sissy, don't hide behind his freaking PC to do it. Go say that to the man face's. And don't forget to take a picture or a video so we can all see how it goes.
hmm i wonder if this is true. it's probably not, but i wouldnt be suprised if it is. adelman sure has some stone if this is true.
