I was at the game so I can not confirm but other post are alluding to the fact that Cooper was in fact doing the half time show.

One reason she might still be doing the half time show is Bullard is filling in for Jim Foley on the radio broadcast. So in essence, Cooper is filling in for the Bull. Hopefully!

Yeah, I was at the game too and I definitely saw that Van Chancellor was the color analyst so I assumed both parts are true. Please, let it be true! NO MORE COOP!

    Here is the brightside:

    T-Mac
    Yao
    & Professional Role players

I dont agree with your look at the brightside. The fan pays the salary of the broadcasting team, the Rockets, and bought the stadium. The brightside is our team the not so brightside is the broadcasting, is it too much to ask to put a professional alongside Bill Worrell, this is not the Improv or the Apollo. Hire a pro for a year and let it be know that it is contigent on Calvin coming back. We dont need a fill in for 82 games.

Who would of thunk that replacing Calvin Murphy would be such a big task? Guilty or not, I say bring him back.

I liked Van well enough, and I really had high hopes for him, but as the game progressed, I didn't enjoy listening to him as much. By the end of the game I wasn't enjoying the commentating at all. I think that a lot of that might have been the boring game however. I think all judgement will have to be reserved until the season is a few weeks old at least.

I will say that I hope Calvin is exonerated, and he can come back to the broadcasts next year . . .
