Only way Morey takes on a player that has no future (Curry) is to get a player with a future (Gallanari). No way the Knicks give up Gallo even to clear 20M in cap space, if the Knicks offer Gallo I would think about it if I was Morey.

How bout T-Mac for Hughes and Harrington?
I rather do Mobley and Hughes than Curry and Hughes.

This is the kind of trade that will get the Rockets involved. I believe it will be a 3 team trade IF TMac is indeed traded. If not keep him till his contract expires.

So what happens with Corey Maggette? Does he just find himself lost in the continental US?

No way the Knicks would just give Danilo Gallinari to get T-Mac.
Do yall realize that Danilo is a 2nd year player and is averaging 15pts a game?
The Knicks will wanna keep some role players around Lebron.

Tmac, JTaylor, JDorsey, Some Other Low-Contract Dude We Don't Play

    for

Curry (blarf), GALLINARI, CHANDLER, Mobley (expiring), NY's 2010 2nd rounder, $3,000,000

    MAYBE. Just MAYBE.

Gives Morey pieces to move around for other trades:

    Brooks/Lowry
    Battier/Budinger
    Ariza/Chandler/Gallinari
    Scola/Landry/MHarris
Chuck Wagon/Anderson/Curry (blarf) / Yao (next year)

Not likely on this one... Gallinari is a D'antoni pickup

This trade has to be one of the most lopsided trades I have seen on this board in favor of the Rockets.

I feel the same way. If he does go ahead with it,it will be a bad deal.

If it's true, Daryl Morey's calculator must be spazzing out.

taking on Curry and his $11.3m option defecates all over our frontline AND cap potential.
