the problem isn't the news being reported, it's the source. The shop is going to mark them down regardless because he's injured so no one is buying his jersey. They are also getting rid of their extra stock incase he is traded, but that's all driven by sales/money not actual insider info. The part of him not wearing #1 is kind of random, doesn't make sense at all, i think he just made that up just to give you a reason, sales people do it all the time.
now that i think of it, i could see tmac doing that, getting another number to symbolize a new era for him, or whatver he's thinking about these days...
I knew people with lower jobs on the totem pole at the Rockets who gave me legit information. If your around in the hours when no one is there sometimes you hear things that arent meant for the public. And yes, sometimes people throw fits at the TC, and folks cant help but to notice and gossip. You never know...
There is too much imagination here. Jersey on sale has nothing to do with trade. The only reason, I think, would be because T-Mac will not play until next year. If they don't sale it now, they have to wait to next year. Many things will happen at that time.
I'm not going to hate on Cheezyboy. I like hearing about Rockets news, or rumors, from the media and fans once in awhile. I don't see anything wrong with this thread... But I do agree, Tmac is probably gone as soon as possible.
