I still like Ron Artest, I don't know him personally but I have no problem with him at all, I just don't think he fits in with the guys on this team and with Ron you just never know what you are going to get and I think Morey and Les knew this going into signing him. It was an experiment that had room for error, but now its getting close to the trade deadline and you gotta think of it from a business stand point. Here's a quick trade I came up with real quick from Chicago and all these guys are being shopped right now. And only one of the guys we would ship have actually been playing in the past 10 games so you tell me if it makes sense to pull the trigger on a trade. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...763&teams=10~10~4~4~4~4&te=3207:10-3018&cash=
I wish people get this thought out their mind that these guys hang out off the court. They don't except for a few and it doesn't matter. Guys go their own way. The young unmarried guys hang, but the older married guys don't. I can see landry, wafer, brooks and scola hanging, but I don't see yao, tracy, deke, and the older guys hanging together. People have different intrest and follow it. Ray Allen does nothing with KG. Hell, he doesn't even like the guy because of all the cussing and stuff, but they respect each other.
I like Kirk Hinrich but seems like the Bulls would win that trade. Where would Drew Gooden fit on this team?
Gooden could find minutes and his contract expires, hell he could get traded to someone else for our back up center that we need so badly. We just take the best over all package then we deal what we don't want to another team. We really need to free up some cash to resign Wafer. I will be pissed if Morey lets him get away.
Well it sure as hell beats Frye and Outlaw lol. And check my post above, I wouldln't want Gooden I would use him as trade bait for another team to get our back up center.
I think this are the trade they talking about. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...~246~996&teams=13~13~13~13~10~10~10&te=&cash=
I like Wafer but trading Ron to free up cash to keep Wafer could be a knee jerk reaction and a mistake. IMO this team needs Ron to contend for a championship. This is the year that we were suppose to do that. I don't see any trade involving Artest putting us over the top. I do however see a deal packing Battier and someone to get us a little better, but I don't think we would get much for Battier at this point. I think we should ride it out and see how this team does in the playoffs, unless there is just a trade sitting out there that would clearly make us better which I just don't see.
the only places that are a fit for ron are new york, chicago, phoenix and toronto. i just dont see a trade that makes sense for us, unless phoenix is willing to deal nash....which i doubt.
If we traded him I wouldn't flip out or anything. I would just hope it works out for the Rockets. Even though I doubt it would.
Yeah, I admit I threw out his name b/c he seemed to be the best PG in terms of ability but not exactly fit, who may also be available. But has Davis really been asked to play in a half-court team before?
