No way...... How you can put Tracy and Artest in the same
sentence in terms of dedication and passion is beyond me....

Artest is a straight up warrior and would kill to play right now......
Have you heard Bill Worrell comment on his "baseball sized ankle" after
the games he stuck it out for us?????

I am embarrassed that Ron might read that post......

It would also be foolish to let him walk for nothing, even it means a sign and trade.

I don't know about all that. I think if Yao and Rafer played that series healthy we still would struggle. If we got out the 1st round it definitely would not have been an easy win against the Jazz last year.

I agree we would have beaten the Jazz last year with Yao and Rafer healthy.....but who really gives a sheet about the 1st round?

With Ron we have a great chance of winning it all.

Is it worth the risk of losing Artest in the off season for nothing in exchange?

I would keep him for our playoff run, but then again I'm not responsible for the long term health of the franchise.

Yeah and hopefully this doesn't effect him mentally. This is the last thing he needs and this team. I hate the rumors leak out.

If we HAVE to trade Ron, add tmac and his huge contract with him for a all-star pg and a solid backup center.

i'm just saying what feign reported. he said the team was mystified at ron's ability to play and play hard one game looking fine with no problems and shutting it down for the next few games. that was feign's interpretation, not mine.

i never said i believed this. i think the team is looking to trade him b/c morey probably thinks artest isn't going to resign and wants compensation. hopefully it's to NY for wilson chandler. he's a very good player who's athletic. and artest gets to go to his hometown like he always wanted. just a guess i don't know.

I agree. All it does is cause chaos. If it's gonna happen, it'll happen. Then we can talk about it.

We can't get an all-star PG for Ron and T-mac. Nobody would give up an all-star/superstar calibar PG for the both of them.

again, morey is a smart guy. whatever he decides, it's going to be in the interest of the team.

and for whoever proposed tracy + ron for wade + marion -> i'd do that in a heartbeat. not gonna happen though lol.

Ron + Alston for all-star PG and backup centre....?

    all-star PG/Brooks
    Wafer/Barry
    T-mac/Battier
    Scola/Landry
    Yao/Backup centre/Deke

Now that would be a very nice team even if T-mac averages something like 18/4/4.

Exactly. How many All-Star caliber PGs are even left in the league? CP3, Deron, Parker, Nash... those guys aren't going anywhere.

Would pairing an all-star with T-Mac even work? "It's kind of hard to get in a groove when you touch the ball once every five minutes".

Probably we should give him more credit than that.

Yup those guys are going nowhere. I seriously don't see why anyone thinks we could get an all-star pg for T-mac or Ron Ron. At best we could get a solid pg for either of them. I'm not sure I would do that deal.

At this point the way Shane has looked this year I would rather keep Artest.
