    No.

    So I guess I lied when I said jason said he had no idea what he was talking about.

    But he did say no...

    Last night I heard that bald guy with glasses on Sportscenter's top ten plays say, as P.J. Ramos was shown getting thoroughly posterized by Villanueva, "Charlie V with the monster slam over P.J. Ramos, signed by Houston to replace Yao Ming." Didn't want to believe I'd heard it, and since no one mentioned it before now, I assumed I was hallucinating. Which begs the question: WTF?

    I bet the op simply misheard.
    Why would we get another player who is pretty much the exact same as Pops mensah-bonsu?
    Plus Morey twittered this morning and mentioned the official signing of Pops. If this is an extra signing, he would've mentioned it on the radio today, or called a presser, or tweeted as much.
    Not believing it until I hear anything officially.

    pops isn't like PJ.

    PJ=7'3 C
    Pops=6'8 PF

    Morey said he might have a minor deal, this may be it.

    No.

    Unless you're asking if he's good at committing fouls?

    IF he has signed, then it's only for training camp - non-guaranteed and WILL get waived.

    He is playing for PUR in Americas championship. So far, his stats is 11.3 pts & 8.9 rbs (#3). He is pretty decent as a center.

    Fact: Peter John Ramos was selected 2nd round 2nd pick in the 2004 draft.

    Ramos participated in the 2004 season of the BSN, finishing with averages of 20.4 points and 9.4 rebounds per gameIn April Ramos announced he would enter the 2004 NBA Draft, hinting that he would withdraw if not a top 15 selection. On draft night, he was picked as the 32nd selection in the draft's second round, by the Washington Wizards. Frustrated with himself, Ramos abandoned the ceremony once the first round concluded.

    Who is right? But...there has to be a bigger plan in mind. Or Morey is putting together something that hasn't be done and could be fun to watch.

    Get me Captain Jack though! :)

    All of these guys sound interesting if thats true. it would make sense to bring in two of the best foriegn centers in Andersen and Ramos. One of them is bound to be decent. I just dont know though. This sounds like one of those bogus hoaxes to me.

    Didn't ESPN have a story a couple days ago saying Yao isn't completely ruled out to play this season? I think sometimes they hear a rumor, and then either write a story about it or say something on air. I don't believe anything I hear from them. Has anyone sent a question to Jon from the chronicle and asked him?

    I'm not very sure this is true, but if it is, we have a ROSTER SPOT OVERLOAD.

    I'm not mixing him up with Pops. I know the difference.
