do not like. Amare is a good player, and has been in that system, but he has just always scared me to have on the rockets. Dont know if its the nash factor, injuries or what...i can't put my finger on it,

I with you on this one, I would rather watch the youngsters get better and Maybe with Yao back who knows. We NEED a taller/3pt shooting point gaurd to run a 1/2 court sets to optimize Yao. A sub six foot point will just get covered-up no matter how good he is in the 1/2 court.

Bucher on ESPNews just said Bosh is a two horse race between Miami and Chicago BUTTTTTTTTTTTT the Rox are VERRRRYYYY interested in Amar'e and was a possible landing spot. Old news but the way he stated the Rox interest in Amar'e made it seem as if the Rox were swinging their attention to Amar'e.

until it becomes official I would really take anything from ESPN with a grain of salt. Not that their sources are bad or wrong but

well this is what i posted in one of the other threads:

right now I would of the two major news reporting sources, yahoo and espn, yahoo is the more objective of the two.

i wouldnt count houston out yet but it was clear from the beginning they would have that hardest sell

I agree 100%, just really thought about passing on the info I saw. I find all this really fascinating and any new info is pretty cool.

It's probably not us since that would require an S/T,unless DM has promised him the max if Amare is willing to go through that route.

Why are people opposed to getting Amare? He's only 28 next season, and he has the versatility to play center if Yao never fully recovers from foot surgery. Also, he has a very nice mid range jump shot that would complement Yao well.

Assuming the sign and trade price is right, it's a nice upgrade for the Rockets.

Does anybody actually think a max deal to Amare is a good idea? He'll be 34-35 at the end of the deal making 27 million dollars

He doesn't play defense and I think his stats need to be Nash adjusted.

Ill just go ahead and say what I heard major thing is it is a rumor. No link no source just words from a friend of mine. Shane Battier, Scola, Lowry or Brooks, Hayes, and Jeffries. Seems a bit much given up all those players. Personally I am more towards leaving to b.s. I haven't heard Rockets met with Amare.

Nah, i'd rather take G. States deal. Better value for those players.
