amare would be useless in this system. none of our PGs can pass off the pick and roll like nash, and yao is the focal point in the low post.
Hmmm... tough one but I would do wat we could to get amare he's 27 while scola is 30 and im a fan of his game, would feel bad for scola but i know its business
LScola4 Im officially unemployed// ya soy un desocupado mas! Sucks for Scola, but he will get paid here or whenever he might be dealt to.
Yeah, I wouldn't be too comfortable give a guy a 6 year 120 something million dollar contract when he is one major injury away from retirement.. He also relies on athleticism which will eventually wear and tear his body apart. I'm more comfortable with a Scola or Bosh kind of player because they don't solely rely on athleticism in majority of their game.
He has lost explosiveness steadily over the last 3-4 years. His rebounding in 06-07 was 10.5/per 36. It has dropped down to 9.3. His FG%, blocks have also followed the same downward trend. http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/s/stoudam01.html
agreed though.... McDyess did well once he lost his athleticism Coming back from microfracture I thought people would believe in his passion and strong will but it seems to be the other way lol you guys get scared Contract is a thing...6 years are a long stretch

Best believe any sign and trade with amare will have barbosa attached and phoenix will take on the lesser of the % since both are over the cap.
Bosh's rebounding has actually increased over the last 2 years. He was averaging 1.1 blocks before this season. Even if he loses explosiveness, he can still be effective with his shooting. As Amare loses his explosiveness, he won't be able to depend on his jump shot. It's not as consistent as Bosh.
Actually, he recovered some of his lost FG% slightly. He still hasn't recovered from the massive drop-off after 2007-08. It went from 57.5% in 2006-07 to 59% in 2007-08 down to 53.9% and recovered slightly to 55.7%. Rebounding rate/36 min went from 10.5 down to 9.7 down to 7.9 to 9.3.
Amare + a center that clogs up the paint = No no for me Didn't his productivity go down due to Shaq's clogging up the paint? Yao clogs up the paint too so same results right?
