Nachbar hasn't really shown that much. Yes he rebounds, and has a nice dunk or two. I don't mind throwing him in a trade deal, just not this one. The trade is basically Cat, because of all the players in the trade, Cat is the only one that will have an effect on our team this year. I'm slightly against the trade, but with Steve and Yao doing most of the offense, I think having a full time spot up shooter like Pike in there makes sense. That may be why Cat was supposedly in this trade. I hope it doesn't happen, and certainly not for Cat.
Cat + EG + Moochie for Williams + Battie gives: TRADE ACCEPTED at RealGM. Draft Picks to season for taste and it could be done.
Pike, Jackson, Griffin are all older players.....we need someone like Nachbar to cover ourselves in case of injuries. Not to mention, Nachbar has a chance to be really really good....especially in a Steve and Yao offense. DD

Man I hope not. Too soon to give up on Boki. Too little to get in return for Cat. Just right for EG. He'll never be happy away from the East Coast.
the point of this trade is to find players to support Yao. Mobley will take too many shots with the consent of the coach and in all likely be benched. Also we need someone of value to trade for these players and thanks to Griffin's childish antics and immature behavior his trade value dropped so much and we are trading to a team who is being bashed as an organization with bad management (mainly due to the Dallas Trade). However the rockets are basically trading in luxury cars(Boki potentially) for used fleet cars that get the job done but not worth the value at all. As for Eddie we have to unfortunatley move on for the 3 pick trade for him, he is not to be valued at the level anymore under the circumstances of his development on and off the court. It does suck, but that is the problem with young project players.
Maybe this is just Dawson's way of letting other teams see that the Rockets are lookin for trade with these players and they are not lookin for much in return, but they will listen to offers.
