Gordon has no desire to be traded to a team in a rebuild and is only interested in joining a team that has the potential to make a playoff run, sources said. One key party with knowledge of the talks disputed that it nearly reached the point of completion. It would have likely involved Victor Oladipo. However, any team that seeks a trade for the Orlando Magic versatile forward would prefer to have some assurances that Gordon would agree to an extension, sources said. This could decrease the trade options for Orlando. Gordon, 25, is set to become an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2022. From the inter net....
agreed. We are rebuilding. Dealing assets for a player that could bolt in a year is the last thing we should be doing. It honestly makes me concerned that our front office doesn’t know what it’s doing. if u trade harden for future draft picks instead of a young ascending Star, you have chosen a direction. That direction is rebuilding through the draft, and that takes patience. Stick with the plan damnit!
theyd be trading players/picks that do nothing for them and probably KCP who provides a staggering 8 ppg and ok defense. Oladipo doesn’t have to put LAL on his back for a season. He has to do it for like 8 of the next 12 games and they have to go 7-5 to remain a top 4-5 seed probably. They would have way better talent around him as well compared to what dipo has had around him over past 20 games.
How many draft picks would you give the Wizards right now to placate them in a Wall for Westbrook trade?
If we offer 2 firsts for Gordon I’m gonna flip the F out and go into a black hole for a long time. Just devastatingly stupid
That’s what I’m saying especially if we improve and **** up out top 4 pick chances. That’s when I break ****
So muc value being built up. It should be multiple trades this week busy Houston. House has increased his value to its highest since 2019. Sterling Brown had two good games this week. Wall and Dipo looking good
