Would trading Herro for Oladipo even be an upgrade for the Heat at this point? I don't think Bricktor can swallow being the 3rd man anymore. Herro might be a better fit straight up.

you must not have watched the Heat this year. He’s been way worse

he’s a shooter who can’t shoot this year

he’s like if Eric Gordon couldn’t play defense this year

I think that's too risky. how would that trade look if the rockets pick landed in the top 4 and we gave up the 2023 and herro for no reason? or if we did the trade after the lottery when we knew we got the 5th pick and its going to OKC, they would have to believe that herro and the 2023 pick is more valuable than the 5th pick this year, and if that assessment happens to be accurate, then again why do we make the trade?

I'm not even saying Herro's good or anything but at least he'll get out of Jimmy and Bam's way. I just spent my Friday night watching Oladipo brick for 6 minutes straight. Gordon would help their team, Oladipo I don't know.

No what you watched was Victor unable to get in a rhythm because John Wall hurts the flow of the game. Next to KPJ he looked so much better. It was the first time all season with the Rockets that it seemed like a natural fit. Oladipo will look like an all star if he ends up in Miami. Come back to me and tell me I'm wrong if it happens and he's not. People are going to be very upset if he is traded for nothing and shines in Miami. I have a feeling it will end that way. Everything is based on fit and no one fits with Wall in this 2021 version of him. He's atrocious.

Well you're probably right because as much as I hate watching Bricktor ballhog it up, I hate watching Wall ballhog even more. I just hope the Heat don't sent this tape back to Stone as a way to lower the offer. Just Precious is good enough thank you.

Would take the 2nd option IF the flip for Oubre is a given.

Give me Oubre over ANY of MIA overvalued assets.

Oubre will help immensely with increasing pace, another big problem with Rockets offense.

Heat players don't run, they are half court players for most part.

Precious is quite a good prospect. Riley won't give him up for a half fit Victor. Perhaps the Knicks might, but I doubt it. Just one good game with 34 points after so many anemic performances isn't going to be enough. He was useless against the Pistons.

Wow just wow.. ok now I really want AG

Damn. I'd include anything except our 2021 pick(really think we have a good shot at cade)

We have enuff picks to temp Orlando..problem is we don't have a "young player" to include..I won't part with our 20 yr olds(kj/kp)..(Tate yes)..

If only dipo wasn't playing like crap

A strong comeback will make it very difficult to acquire him. I hope we will luck into a top 4 pick and then try to acquire him in the off season via a trade if needed.

    Dipo to Knicks.

Knicks have more than enough young former lottery picks to sweeten the deal.

Magic want young player(s), FRP and maybe a vet PG (e.g. Augustin or Rivers).

I'd also throw in BMac, they love 3ball shooters and coveted him last season.

I will take Herro over Oladipo right now and that doesn’t even take into account that Herro is going to get better and is far younger. Herro is a better offensive player already and isn’t constantly missing games or making big money. Oladipo is a better defender but Herro is fine defensively.

I wouldn’t call Oladipo a two way player either, he isn’t a good offensive player.

    Herro vs. AG?

    What a silly question.

We normally do not disagree, but on this we do.

    Herro is not fine defensively.

And Dipo is a MUCH better defender.

And scorer. And passer. And rebounder.

Herro is so overrated on CF and Heat Nation.

Herro is fine defensively. He isn’t a star defensively but he is where he is supposed to be and stays in front of his man.

Oladipo is NOT a better offensive player than Herro and it really isn’t close. Scoring 20 points on 18 shots doesn’t make Oladipo a good scorer. He is a negative on the offensive side of the ball with Houston.

That doesn’t even take into account that Herro doesn’t have to consistently sit out games.

Not thinking Herro is a long term solution is fine, but Oladipo has been garbage overall.

Does he? Dipo doesn't offer nearly the same value. He has looked horrible all around, has recurring injuries, doesn't play back to backs, has no first step or burst, and is a poor three point shooter in a league where players at his position are expected to knock down 2-3 a game.

Dipo fits more with KPJ then Wall.
Wall is a shoot first PG it's just what he is so i think Sikas should try to spread their minutes apart more.
