Maybe so. But New York is a cash cow that needs to make the playoffs even if they are lambs to the slaughter once they get there. They are in danger of becoming second class citizens in their own town with Brooklyn putting together the team they have. Nobody wants to be the clippers.
PJ is kind of acting like he’s Philly bound in a couple of comments. I really hope we get Thybulle out of it. Just can’t see it, maybe adding Ben McLemore gets it done.
Philly is what I'm expecting for their second rounder (new york's pick around 45). Would love Thybulle but think there are a few long crazy athletic 2/3s who would be available around there if Thybulle isn't in the cards.
I think he’s going to 1. Boston they could do a straight Tristian for LMA swap 2. Miami: Meyers for LMA I don’t think he gets bought out
sitting on the other side of the table from Morey...we’d have better luck at the ring toss with the carneys
That's like saying "team X asked the Rockets for either Christian Wood or Victor Oladipo in any trade for player X"...like Herro and Robinson have similar value...good try by Miami trying to build up Robinson's as much as possible i guess...
Don’t see us getting more than a mid second for PJ at this point unless he starts hitting his corner 3s. A mid 2nd can net a nice future rotation player tho.
If PJ is traded for Precious, I'm good with that. I'd rather have picks, but Precious is still a rookie, so if we want to compete in 3 years, then at least we will be still have one cheap rotational player. On an unrelated note, I'd really like to get NO's 2nd rounders, even more than Precious. Precious has slightly more value, but that will be lost with 2 more seasons of Wall.
Does this confirm that Tucker hasn’t been giving maximum effort because he’s been frustrated? Aka he quit on the team? Also could just be Tim McMahon doing Tim MacMahon things.
