I call BS. Makes no sense that they'd want that from the Sixers and yet be okay with Precious and Robinson for Lowry straight up.
If you're Houston and Toronto, I just don't understand why you'd hold on to Oladipo and Lowry, respectively, and not move those guys in the next 40 minutes. Maybe they think they can pull off a sign and trade in the offseason? Maybe the market for them wasn't as strong as they thought, and they don't want to settle for scraps? But if you have to pick between nothing or scraps, give me the scraps, especially in Stone's case. The only justification I can think of for not dealing Oladipo before the deadline is: A. You somehow think you can get more in a sign and trade, which doesn't seem realistic at all to me. B. You think he's going to re-sign here for a reasonable contract in the offseason, giving you a quality player and asset you can move further down the line. Either way, I just don't get it. I like Victor and I don't hate his game, but the dude's 28, injury-prone, a free agent and playing on one of the worst teams in the league.
Neither of those guys that good if they were on the rockets they wouldn’t be considered serious assets
anyone following basketball for a while knew that was BS I mean if it’s true how do you not pounce immediately!?
