Great move for the Jazz if Jefferson can stay healthy. Jerry Sloan will ensure that he gets maximum production out of this guy.

    sucks for us though

I guess one day we will see how those assets and cheap contracts will benefit us. I also heard how capspace was overrated. Jefferson would really help houston, but i guess he will go to utah.

It's better to stand still than to overpay. Patience.

Trust the wizard at least enquired, if all Kahn wanted was an exception then fine, for 42 mill over 3 years, even coming off the knee and his limited athletism I would have gladly taken him

What the hell is minny doing? Maybe Simmons would have been a good choice, surely Jefferson has more value than darko and that periodic guy they signed for the same amount of cash, ridnour over session and Flynn with Rubio, and if you are going to trade al then roll the dice on cousins on the draft, what the he'll is his plan

Never wanted Jefferson, but good god Kahn.

This can only be complete if that trade exception he got is used to grab Rip Hamilton or Arenas.

If we cant get him, I don't want another west team to get him either.

He would be a million times more useful than this brad fkin miller deal we keep hearing about.

At least with the addition of AJ, we would be improving our team.

I was hoping this would be about Richard Jefferson. Darn it.

Smart move by the Jazz. Still a downgrade overall, but he can play both positions.

Every FA name that comes up in the news you guys post how and why we should get them. WE CAN'T GET EVERY PLAYER GUYS!! Chill with that. You guys have no clue who would fit well on this team and what the overall plan is. We go through this every summer. You start getting mad when other teams are signing FAs and not us, then you start whining and complaining about how the GM is not doing his job. Think of it like this, we signed Yao Ming this summer. We didn't have him last year. Can we see how K Martin, Ariza, AB, Battier, Scola, Lowry, Budinger, and Hill play with Yao in the lineup? I mean can we try that first, before we start saying who we need?

Nice. He was the centerpiece for the Garnett deal a few years back. Now they dump him for nothing.

That's actually a pretty good haul for Minnesota. Surprised Kahn was able to get that much.

I agree, and we need to whine less about the Jazz. Why give their fans anything to gloat over.

Nooooooooooo! Why? Why did he go there? Why do people still insist on Tyson Chandler? Why not Brad Miller? (especially since we lost out on Jefferson)

Don't flame me but if Morey won't add someone like in Granger's level, this is a failure for us. Jazz got Jefferson for just 1st round pick.

i know. he can probably use those picks to shore up the PG position. maybe trade down with both, pick up 4 2nd round picks and draft 4 point guards.

    opinions?
