I'd think the Nets would be hesitant to deal Bojan w/ RHJ out for a few months now.

But yeah, Ty is pretty useless.

Can't get a better player in return, but may be able to get a better fit.

    Lawson is an expiring.

Dec 15th for KJ and vet mins, Jan 15th for Brewer and Bev.

So, still a month away until the entire roster is trade eligible.

Need to see if the Nets make a move by Friday when their Kirilenko TPE expires.

Nyet see the Nyets' Russian capo delving deeper into tax for this year's squad. After all, they don't play TheGoodGuys again. Until the Finals...

Ty and Harden have almost never played off the ball their entire lives. It's going to take some time to learn how to do that, more than a couple of dozen games. The team decided to abandon the idea of throwing them in the fire together.

So now Harden is getting no practice at playing off the ball, a skill that would improve his overall career tremendously. Lawson is improving but he doesn't have to do it as much now that he's coming off the bench. The good news is, if we stick to Lawson coming off the bench then they will improve at it slowly as the season goes on.

Meanwhile Lawson has been improving these last 4 games. He's starting to get it. He was in Denver with roughly the same roster for so long. This is only the second NBA team he's had to run and he's learning about this team and this offense. I think he will get better so even if you want to trade him, wait till February.

i noticed last night that even when ty is on the floor, either bev or harden brings the ball upcourt. and basically ty just runs to the corners and waits for a kickout 3 that he probably will shotfake and drive in anyways. can our coaching staff really be this dense?

The onus is on the Rockets and Ty. Ty has to be more aggressive. He is WAY too passive. Dude, when you're in the game CREATE and put pressure on the defense. Stop deferring to James. Also JB needs to run some plays for Ty to get going. That play they run with Harden in the middle of the court around the FT line annoys me. How about you a high p&r with Ty and Jones? The Rockets should atleast TRY to get Lawson going

That's my point. JB hasn't even try to incorporate Ty into the offense.

Ty needs a team where he can be a PG once again. The 15th is when he can be traded?

Ty seems to be completely useless on this team. Even when Harden is on the bench, Ty doesn't take over and run the team like you would expect. What's strange is that Harden and Lin were at least somewhat compatible together. Lin was eventually brought off the bench, but Harden and Lin could play together.

One thing I've noticed is that Denver gave a lot of room for Ty to operate. Everyone stood in the corners and Ty could either go left or right. Rockets rarely ran this play for Ty.

This was the only time they ran this play for Ty last night and it resulted in a wide open 3 for Brewer which he missed.

    Wait and watch

Once Ty gets to another team he will go back to his usual 15/8 or there about and we will all be wondering why that did not happen here.

One reason is Harden just can't or doesn't want to play off the ball. When he doesn't have the ball at most times he is rooted to one position waiting for the ball instead of cutting or moving around

The other reason is of course Ty is completely lost and coaching hasn't done a good job of incorporating him and running plays for him. Started with McHale and continues with JB

Id like to get ryan anderson and josh smith somehow. I think we can trade kj and tjones for anderson. And then sign smith when clippers waive him. This will give usban elite 3 point shooter and great defense. Maybe we can work out a 3 way where suns get jones pelicans get markeiff and we get anderson.

    Howard/Capella
    Dmo/smith/anderson
    Ariza/brewer
    Harden/thornton
    Beverley/lawson/terry
Better team chemistry and 3 point shooting
