not like he'll get that kind of production here. any real pg that needs the ball to be an actual pg does not fit next the Harden. that's the problem. If that player is a true pg, it doesn't matter who it is. As long as Harden plays the same way there isn't a pure pg in the league that would fit.

I always thought a guy like Rondo would do well with Harden simply because he does an elite job of getting the ball to guys in their scoring positions. Of course he cant shoot a lick but id bet hed be better than lawson has been.

Why do we keep looking for PG? Let's get a defensive SG with average offense creating skills. Basically Trevor Ariza but can actually handle the ball. Harden should be PG. He needs a Chris Paul-type for him to play SG effectively.

that doesn't make much sense when Rondo needs the ball to be effective. he'd be even worse than lawson given the fact that he can't shoot a lick

Courtney Lee would fit real well here. Exactly the type I envision alongside Harden at PG

The first step to finding the right guard next to him is for harden and others who think he is to realize that he is not a PG.

You can't put a SG next to Harden because Harden, while he is the primary ball handler when they get in their offensive sets, shouldn't be the one always bringing the ball up the court. He walks it up way too slow, and has too much of a tendency to sit back, observe the defense, and change the play.

That's one of Harden's gifts, and the negative side of him being the ONLY ball handler on the court at any particular time. Harden needs to get the ball IN THE OFFENSE, and go to work in order to be kept in check.

If he's hitting the 3 ball, Pat Beverley is a good fit next to Harden. Getting a low post option like D-Mo back will really help the need for Harden to play such heavy minutes because we will have someone else to run the offense through. That's more important than just finding a PG that fits better than Pat & better than trying something crazy with your lineup like putting Harden at full time PG.... which is bad news.

Really that's the only thing that is on Harden or coaching staff for that matter. Which PG we had with Harden weren't "passive"? Harden turns the PG into a spot up shooter. That's why Bev fits him the best. Harden is the true PG on this team and the ball will always be in his hands (and rightfully so unless Harden's performance keeps dropping). I rather get a less ball dominant PG than making Harden learn at this point to play without ball.

Then you might want to get use to how the Rockets play right now if like him being the fulltime pg. If his workload isn't reduced everything will remain the same and the defense will still be pathetic. won't be winning anytime soon.

No need to trade, all Rockets players need to get their a*s together and attend some chemistry classes.

50 yr old jason terry showing the world it isn't the fault of the coaches. the danger of keeping lawson and not seeing improvements is to see trade turn into waive. low trade value? at least get something back, right?
