To me David Lee = Scola. Lees a little more athletic but they have similar skill sets. Lee is a little better in the pick and roll, but Scola has more post game. They're both good rebounders, passers, and they both run the floor well.

If Scola stays in houston, Lee would be a huge waste of money IMO. Those two guys would only take away from each other's game.

OKC would be the best bet for Lee.. with him they could do some serious damage next season.. scary prospect but it could happen

Still dont see how that makes them better than LAL. Lee doesnt have the length to contend with Gasol/bynum/odom front court.

I like David Lee a hell of a lot more than Bosh. Lee actually hustles, has a nose for the ball, can shoot better and is great in the pick and roll. I'm wary that his numbers may be inflated because of D'Antoni, but he seems like a worker who will rebound at will, run the floor hard and convert offensively.

He's an attacker. Bosh is a settler.

Bosh is soft, he has a frame similar to that of the one known as SheMac. says Barry Werner.

David Lee, if not, Big Al Jefferson

    Scola 16 ppg 8 rebs 51%

    Bosh 24 ppg 10.8 rebs 52%

    Jefferson 17ppg 9 rebs 50%

    David Lee 20 ppg 11.7 reb 54%

Al had a down yr and put up good numbers and at 25 has plenty of room to grow. Can face up and back down. In addition to having a power game, he has a nice series of fakes to get his shot off in traffic.

David Lee is a stud, all around, plain and simple.

No matter where Jefferson ends up this year is he going to beast (as in 22/10 type numbers). I don't know why people act like the guy is done when he is young and spent last season returning from a nasty ACL tear. He put up 17/9 at basically 80% of what he will be this season. He can play both positions (except against quick PF) and solves the dreaded "what do we do against the Lakers' size" problem everyone is so obsessed over.

He is worth taking a chance on for three years at an average of $14 million. In fact, I'll take that bet over Bosh at six years with an average of $20 million.

Lee is a very good player and very underrated by the board, heck I thought he was a product of their system for quite a while until I watched him closer. He is a very hard worker and someone who maximizes his ability, Houston fans would eventually love him like they do Scola but I wonder if Scola and Lee wouldn't be to redundant. Saying that according to Feigen, the Rox have already reached out to his agent for more then just a token contact so there is some interest from the Rox.

I would be okay with Lee, he is the type of player the Rox like and it wouldn't cost an arm and a leg to get him.

David Lee is not worth it, he doesn't give us anything we don't already have and we are loaded at PF.

I wouldn't mind Big Al, he's...Big...long...is very talented and he has a passion and will to win.

Not saying Lee doesn't have that, he's just another undersized skilled PF we should have going into next season. Big Al has length and size over Lee.

Either way it seems like the Rockets want to build a team full of underrated players. Would be nice if they all fit together and stick it to the league like the Spurs or Pistons :p

We can't get David Lee. Knicks wont s&t Lee to us and we cant acquire Lee as a free agent. Period.

I don't get why people keep bringing up Al Jefferson when he has been injured as much as Yao these last couple of years.

Grant dude is a superb player but short of getting him for David Andersen, cash and some filler I wouldn't trade to get him.
