Yeah, I watched that game too. What an idiot. That killed the King's momentum. Would have made a difference in a close game too. And then he misses the potential tying 3...could have taken out GSW for us, but nope. I wouldn't want that guy on our team, no matter how good of a player he is.

And it baffles me that people want him on the Rockets proclaiming that Artest is some kind of deadly scorer? He simply takes bad shots, over dribbles, and gets his points off broken plays. The farthest thing from a smooth offense type guy since well... I wont go there.

Exactly. I would not take him for free on this team for two reasons:

We don't have anyone who would stand up to him and make him act right
We don't have an elite PG who would only give him the ball in the right situation

Phoenix has both. Shaq is probably the most well-respected player in the game. Nash is a great leader and a superb PG.

Agreed. Shot selection is worst than T-Mac but what's worst is that he thinks he is as good as a T-Mac or Kobe on offense. He'd probably take more shots than Yao. Say NO to Artest for T-Mac.

I agree about everything said about Artest's shot selection. Between him, McGrady, and Rafer all on the floor, our shooting percentage would fall into the low 30s.
