Superbowl weekend in houston when the panthers played patriots, i got a pi i hadn't even had a drink. a couple of people i was with got was talking load when they told us ihop was closed. The officer arrested all of us on pi. Got booked and the jailhouse lawyer( the guy that know the entire law book by heart) told us to plead guilty, get time served and will be out in the morning. As a man,its really hard to plead guilty for something you know you didn't do, but it beats staying in jail til maybe sunday . took my medicine and got out by 10am saturday.

You got owned. If something like that happened to me I would go berserk and make sure that cop sleeps in fear for the next month that he may lose his job.

Depending on how bad the "abuse" part is, Rafer shouldn't have any extended conflicts with the law just for that night alone. What may be more telling is the big picture of him being a no-show (unless someone wants to show otherwise) at TMac's softball game and then getting arrested that same night.

He was a good guy who didn't have a single problem under JVG, and the Asberger's syndrome explains a lot as to how he's dealing with this offseason. I just hope Morey has the capacity to treat Alston the right way and either trade him to a team that could use him or keep him for the start of the season to see if he can still contribute.

I'll increase the font because I think this post is worth noting, and don't want it to get lost in a big thread.

The "Rafer has Asperger's Syndrome" rumor is likely bogus. The only place I ever saw that reported was on wikipedia, and it's since been removed. Last year when I first read the story, I emailed Jonathan Feigan for confirmation. He replied back that he never heard anything about Rafer having Asperger's, but that he would look into it. Feigan never got back to me, so with that and the edit in wikipedia, I highly doubt the validity of the Asperger's claim.

Unfortunately, Chron also mispelled his name. :(

I guess they know Ralston is gone so why bother correcting it.
