Rumor: Alston arrested for PI and Assault (CONFIRMED)

Our "nice guys" get caught shoplifting sunglasses and are busy getting arrested...

I would hate to see what our "bad guys" are up to.

 

The only things about Rafer I hate are his "teardrops", his inability to get to the rim and his fg %. Unfortunately, the latter really disqualifies him as a starting PG on a contender.

On another note, I am almost 100 % sure that Rafer reads this board...there really isn't any other explanation for his "I'll be here next year" t-shirt.

Ok. You don't tell where you get your inside information from or you don't get it anymore. Ask anybody that and they'll tell you. Ask Clutch as a reporter when he gets inside information (that isn't in the media yet) if he would tell you where he got it from. He would answer no because then he would no longer receive it.

Most of you guys are morons, the hate for Alston is ridiculous.

The TRUTH is, without alston we would have been fighting for a playoff spot, possibly not even making it. Have you all forgotten so easily how insanely terrible our team was when he wasn't playing.. We looked like a bunch of Little leaguers running around not knowing what to do besides Tracy, that and Yao was a non-factor since no-one could give him the ball.. Even Mcgrady had a hard time on the floor without alston unless he himself took the ball up the court. I think Alston is easily a 2nd team player in this league, he may not be starter quality but he is much better then the likes of other starters in this league like Jameer Nelson.

We were better with Rafer because we didn't have a backup that could play NBA ball. JL3 and VSpan were not good and were unsure of themselves out there...it was obvious. Just because they were terrible doesn't mean that Rafer was a good fit.

He would be a great backup...a 15 minute a game player...somewhere else.

 

Or, if Rafer was wearing it, to discourage them from renewing their season tickets. Knowing he would be back as the starter would make me want to be a Mav-Fan. OOOoooooh.........I shudder at the thought. Not a Rafer Hater, but, I agree 1000% with Clutch's take.

To suggest that someone somehow "hates" Rafer is to assume that one knows him outside of basketball. I don't hate the man, but I do hate the basketball player. No amount of concocted BS he (KAS and his ilk) spews will change that fact. I don't know Rafer, so he's simply not worth "hating" or worth my time outside of what I observe on the basketball court.

So I'm not sure if it was brought up earlier in the thread or not but i came over to the bar and they were telling me what happened the night that he got arrested here in downtown becuase it was actually in our parking lot right next to us.

He was on his way to the Office (Club here in downtown), parked his car in the parking lot and didn't pay the guy the parking fee of $10 bucks. Walked into the club was there and they attendant already had told him to pay, he didn't. So they called the tow truck company and there were preceding to tow his car when he found out through a friend or something and came out and started the argument with the attendant who was trying to get payment in which Rafer proceeded to spit in the guys face.
