No offense guys but i don't answer any of those tyoe of questions anymore. have decided to put certain inside information on the board and once again give people a chance but I'm not going to answer the "where you there", "who are you", "where are you getting this from" ect....... I'm sorry but I can't do that. i know the general consensus on this board is to need back up on inside stuff and I can respect that. i'm just going to say what have and you can choose to believe me or not. Either way, it won't effect me anymore. If it get's personal , then I'll stop again. That's just how it is.

Absolutely not. he just never got touched so the words assault should have never been used. To say he wasn't intimidated would being attempting to read somebody's mine and I'm sure he was a rattled some. Both parties shouyld have handled themselves better. Unfortunately, Skip gets jail and this and that guy gets nothing. Even his frivelous assault claim will carry no weight and have no effect on him whatsoever.

He really has. He's just an emotional dude and sometimes it has gotten the best of him. He really loves his fans and interacting with people in general. About as humble as they come.

I have a question, KAS13 says Skip had been drinking, and he was trying to get his car.

So wasn't he in fact lucky that his car got towed?

Doesn't it look like otherwise he'd have had a good chance to get a DUI instead? So he might be getting off with less than he'd have deserved now if all that remains is PI.

Caught a blurb on the radio that mentioned that the attendant had spit on his face still when the cop came over to see what was going on.

I don't know but if that's true then Alston is lucky all he got was arrested.

I would have been extremely ticked off if some drunk dude grabbed my arm then spit in my face, I doubt I would have simply walked away then talked to a nearby officer.

Seriously that's just downright disgusting if he acted that way.

Once someone came over and I was minding my own business and just spit in my face. Called me a few choice words too and it was on! He started it but I finished it.

If Rafer didn't haul off and pound the guy into the ground then kudos to him. You know if the other dude spit in his face, then you know some words were exchanged to. Sounds to me like Rafer was provoked.

You misread him. Rafer spit on the attendant, not the other way around.

We all know Rafer didn't spit on that parking attendant. He may have spit at him but he didn't hit him. We've all seen Rafer shoot and he rarely hits what he's aiming at.

You don't have to touch someone for it to be labeled assualt.

Assualt: The act or an instance of unlawfully threatening or attempting to injure another.

I think that's great you can feel sympathy for Rafer. Really, that's great and shows was a maganmious person you are and that you can empathize with the problems of anyone - even the rich and famous.

I'll save my pity for starving kids in Africa.

I don't think anyone hates him enough to want him to completely screw up both on and off the court thereby reducing his value and hurting the Rockets along the way.

I don't hate him, I just realized a loooooooong time ago (along with a few others like SamFisher/Clutch/Zboy) that he sucks beyond reasonable suckiness.

The choir has definitely grown since, but it's never been about wanting to see O-fer self-destruct and therefore hurting the team's ability to get something worthwhile for him. Hate him for what, to prove a point? There is no need for that, there never was a need for that, he did it on the basketball court every other night. It was so self-evident that it was difficult for me to comprehend how anyone could honestly look past it; but I digress...

I don't hate the Rockets, therefore I don't hate Rafer or anyone else on the team. However, if this does end up hurting the team, I will have definite scorn for him much like others before him that screwed us over. Fair enough?

'til then, cry me a river...

You know even the rich and famous have problems just like the rest of us. And please don't tell me all the basketball players are overpaid and spoiled. Yeah, that might be true at the very top like the Kobes of the league but there are so many more athletes who are just trying to make the teams and make a living. They work hard and practice everyday and they have to deal with injuries and traveling on the road. it's easy to look in from the outside but you might feel differently if you actually switched spots with some of these basketball players.

PI??? if they started arresting ppl for that in New Orleans... whole damn city of new orleans would be arrested during the 3 weeks of Mardi Gras. Personally, I think it's just a money grabbing nobody trying to get paid by making a big deal. Rafer prob kissed him on the head wrong or something.

Yup, the PI is trivial. The assault part is more substantial.

Thank god Charles Barkley would never do something like that.

Who's crying about it? Try reading the posts before taking your typical moronic little digs. I said Rafer was in the wrong as well, we should have traded him long time ago to either Miami or LA,ect..... You are a Rafer hater. You're entitled to your opinion. I really don't care honestly. I didn't insult anyone at all in this thread. just posted what I knew and debated points with people. You on the other hand come in with Justin Timberlake videos. It proves my point. Why not just make your point about what you felt about the arrest and move on? It's because you would rather try to make fun of me or try to get me angry for another few pages of worthless posts. Please just don't bother responding to me. Everytime I'm in a thread, there are you with your opinion to make some sort of remark. I never thought I'd need a restraining order on a message board.

One more thing to consider, many others agreed with my points. However, you just chose to take my comment. I wonder why that is. Sad
