This doesn't change anything for us or for any teams IMO.

Neither move is going to make either team a championship contender. It will allow Detroit some flexibility going into next offseason. I wonder if Dumars is planning on a complete rebuild.

Good deal for both teams. Salary dump for the Pistons but they still get a good player in the process. They already have Stucky and Maxiell (sp?) to fill the void. Denver gets thier PG and they already have smith to take over for Iverson at SG.

Don't really understand what Denver is doing over there, but w/e.

Hopefully this means I get more assists from Billups in fantasy.

I think this works for Denver, too. They get a point guard who will actually run the show, and it'll let 'Melo start playing like the star he should be (though nothing ever stops him from getting his numbers). The AI experiment is over in Denver, this was a good change for both teams.

I think if McDyess is bought out, he's a guy that we take a serious look at. I think he could help us out big time! Also, doesn't McDyess live in Houston?

Something tells me Detroit got the best of this trade. I think AI can help them win now. Detroit hasn't had a superstar type player since Grant Hill. We all know AI isn't in his prime anymore but he can still put up point and take over a game at anythime and thats the type of player Deroit needs right now.

I really don't know what to think of it from Denver side. I don't really think they got better at all.

Well I think hes a troll because he bash Tracy in 90% of his posts. This thread had nothing to do with Tracy and he comes right in and start to bash Tracy. I agree you don't have to praise any player but damn to hope he fails and he plays for your favorite team I don't get it.

IMHO, Pistons will be good, but slightly worse. Like AntiSonic said - AI is a baller - you add a baller to Pistons or Spurs and it won't work.
Billlups is great, but I just don't see any way out with this mix of players Nuggets currently have.

i think the pistons got the better deal, value wise. not sure if its exactly what the team need though.

i mean just during the offseason, i think there was speculation that we could be getting billups/prince or wallace for tmac?

and imo AI > Tmac....at least based on the STATS only these past few seasons.

oh man this isn't good... Billups just adds to the pg talent in the west. Now we cant even think of playing AB on the same court as billups unless we crossmatch. Not good at all.
