Uh, the true answer is yes. Most of the Romney/Mormon stuff is coming from the (for lack of better words) evangelical/fundamentalist side of the Repub coalition. Being Mormon is compounded in the Repub primary audience because it is also code for not being "right" on some social issues.
Um... no. Do a google search for DailyKos and Mormon and tell me what turns up. They've been slinging that around like an insult for months. Pathetic.
LAWL oh come on jorgie, dont back away from it now. Ive never seen you back away from one of your own outrageous innuendoes....EVER! are you losing your resolve? every time you make that connection, that is EXACTLY what you are implying and everyone knows it. thats why you do it. dont bullsh*t a bullsh*tter Jorgie
LOL!!! You totally agree with it! You've said so on several occasions. Or was that all disingenuous innuendo?
What a complete tool you are. See that is the difference in TOOLS like you, who only see color, religion, sex. That is what has become the Republican party. And those of us who only see people for who they are. For instance. Bush authorizes terrorism and torture. But I dont hate on the white race for it. I just see Bush for the Johnson that he is. See how easy that is. Somewhere I guess, your family tree also hated on Blacks, who ran for office, before that, probably women.
DailyKos readers aren't keeping him in 5th place among South Carolina Republicans. Hmmm. Now what does SC have that Iowa and NH don't? That's right, a bunch of fundies...
It's just hypocritical on the part of the libs to sling around a Mormon reference when discussing Romney, then jump all over someone who associated Barack Obama with Islam. I have many friends who are Mormon and they are all GREAT people. Think about that the next time you slander them.
well, the latter wins by about 60k pages, but the top hit is: "Sharpton Slanders Mormons" so not sure what your little experiment proves.
not to go all butt sniff on you like deckardrimrockermcmarksmafisherbatmanjones, but..agreed. and it's highly unlikely i'd vote for either, unless of course, they somehow ended up running against each other.
well, considering Im not a Fundamentalist Republican, I think it is safe to say I NEVER slander Mormons. now that I think of it, I dont recall the last time I even said the word Mormon. anyway doesnt matter once again, the Conquistadork unveils his
OK, I did... went about 40 hits deep. Here's what I saw... posts discussing whether Romney's Mormonism would prevent him from being nominated by a party full of fundies, discussions about money and what candidates are raising money where... with Romney the discussion obviously centered around the huge sums he's raising in Utah and a post that talked about using Repubs aversion to Mormonism to strategically weaken the Christian Right. That's it. If I missed something, let me know.
I've never seen anyone on the left slander Romney for his religion. I'm sure some have, but I've never seen it. If I did I would be totally offended as I have been when I've seen people on the right do it and as I am whenever anyone slanders anyone else because of his or her religion. But there's an important distinction here. Romney is Mormon; Obama is not Muslim. He's Christian. And we all know what you're doing when you do it, Jorge. Your racism, xenophobia and religious bigotry are a matter of record here.
First, nobody's slinging anything about Romney and Mormonism except Repub primary voters... everyone else is just reporting that fact. Second, Romney is Mormon. Obama is a Christian.
He is without question associated with Islam, which I what I stated. He went to a Muslim school and his father is a Muslim. His name is Muslim. That's an association. Look, you can claim you 'haven't seen' any liberals slinging the Mormon insult around, but they have. I suspect you know they have, but are just trying to play word games to hide behind your party's hypocrisy.
