I like Rudy a lot, but his game doesn't match the hype, yet. After watching him for a year and a half, I don't think his upside is all that high. If he wants to leave the Blazers after this season and go back to Europe, fine and dandy. Batum is much more important to their future (and present) than Rudy.
He's STILL unhappy after they traded away Outlaw? I'm kind of surprised at that. Personally, I just hope he goes back to Europe. I don't really think he's that much of an upgrade over Ariza/Battier/Budinger going forward. And he's not going to get big minutes here either.
Rudy is made of glass. Literally. I love his game and I'm a fan of his but he's way too brittle to make a real impact cause he's not going to stay healthy.
Glad you chimed in. But even if he stays healthy, Rudy is just too soft to be much of an impact player in the NBA. He is 100% butterfly and needs to mix in some bee-sting.
